Wolfbund spam edit

Runvitnir has now put in 16 external links to "Wolfbund", which has a neonazi-looking logo. Please stop this. /Pieter Kuiper 15:06, 15 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Re:Deletions edit

See what you are trying to do, looks as though you're trying to spam wikipedia with a website in which you are connected with. Even if you don't intentionally mean to spam, it still looks as so. I looked the website you were linking and I can't exactly blame the other editor for removing the link, I mean the logo design(colours & formation), on the main page,is very similar to the Nazi Swaztika. If people look up the article about Nordic mythology and find a link which looks as though it's trying to promote Neo-Nazism, of course they are going to ask questions. I know there are many other editors are linking their websites to multiple articles aswell, but their actions are going against WP:SPAM. Also most of your contributions to wikipedia have been adding that particular link to articles which many editors can see as a spam only account. But all I can recommend is look at this for some info about spam and how not to be a spammer(it's a guideline generally followed by most wikipedians). Also I don't know much about that website's content/content of article to which you are adding the link, so before adding the link to any more articles, first bring up the link on the article's talk page so other editors can comment if the website will help the article.
One more thing, if you come across any other editors adding their website links or suspicious links to multiple wikipedia articles, please leave a message on my talkpage with their username and I can deal with them :D. Thanks for coming to me about this and if you are at all confused by all of this (above), feel free to post a message on my talkpage. Happy Editing! Wolfbund edit

Hi there Fang,

I have a question, I've been trying to place the following link * Wolfbund on various articles like (Galdr) and (Seidr) but they don't seem to be there when I go back to look at it later, say during a google search. Any advice?

They are probably being removed because they are considered spam. Links should be directly relevant to the subject at hand. Cheers, Fang Aili talk 13:34, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
