March 2023 edit

Please do not use styles that are nonstandard, unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in List of Boys Planet contestants. There is a Manual of Style, and edits should not deliberately go against it without special reason. I'm referring to section titles. You have a Professional Editor Userbox but it says otherwise. — 9️⃣8️⃣🐯♒️(🆃🅰🅻🅺) 02:43, 3 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

I am aware that section titles should not be written in title case. However, please note that that there is an exception for proper names (which the mission titles are, hence why I capitalized them accordingly), as stated here:

Use sentence case, not title case, capitalization in all section headings. Capitalize the first character of the first element if it is a letter, but leave the rest lower case except for proper names and other items that would ordinarily be capitalized in running text. (MOS)

Furthermore, other survival show articles use the same formatting of capitalizing the mission names within the text and in the section headings, see Girls Planet 999 and the entire Produce 101 franchise. So it is neither unprecedented, nor unusual or inherently incorrect.
Also please note that my Professional Editor Userbox is a general userbox for professions, not one referring specifically to my status on Wikipedia; it refers to my real-life profession. I also do not appreciate you questioning my professionality based on such a small matter; you simply could have left said statement out as it is neither constructive nor relevant to the discussion.   Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Lightoil (talk) 00:14, 23 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Sorry about that, it really is something I tend to forget and am trying to fill out more often. Thanks for reminding me of checking that setting. Have a nice day! wanna be your star, 루입니다 11:58, 23 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

I see you have a history of breaching the MoS edit

Beware, I will take action if you revert my fixes to that article—that bring it into compliance with common practice AND the Manual of Style. Tony (talk) 03:21, 17 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

First off, I don't have a history of breaching the MOS. The other entry on my talk page by Tigerius98 ended up being a mistake on their part, which you could easily see if you checked the page in question and saw that my edit (the capitalized version of the section headers) has been adopted since. Your "fixes" were also neither compliant with common practice nor the MOS. To my knowledge, there is no part of the MOS that says that references in tables aren't allowed to have a space before them or that everything needs to be linked to when it has an article each time it is mentioned, regardless of whether it already has been linked to shortly beforehand. It's also not common practice — I can list an abundance of articles that use the same formatting I did. This is simply nitpicking based on personal preference, not a "fix" or breach of MOS. I won't revert your edit again as I don't want to engage in an edit war but I also do not agree with you and also do not care to further discuss this with you. — wanna be your star, 루입니다 21:16, 17 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

CS1 error on Astro (South Korean band) edit

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Astro (South Korean band), may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A "bare URL and missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 21:37, 19 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Help at the Ancient Greek Wikipedia edit

Hi! How are you? I have noticed that you say in your user page that you speak Ancient Greek and I was wondering whether you could possibly help us revive the Ancient Greek Wikipedia at the Incubator. It would be great if you could lend us a helping hand. Jon Gua (talk) 14:23, 11 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi! I am sorry to bother you again but I was wondering whether you could possibly sign this (https://shorturl.at/hNQVY) petition in order to get the Wikipedia in Ancient Greek approved. Thank you so much for your help. Jon Gua (talk) 07:15, 16 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
