Speedy deletion nomination of RUBY YADAV edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on RUBY YADAV requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. April 2014 edit

Hello, Rubyyadav. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. 331dot (talk) 13:17, 11 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of User:Rubyyadav edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:Rubyyadav, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Contested deletion edit

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (your reason here) --Rubyyadav (talk) 15:11, 11 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Ruby yadav is an Independent candidate for loksabha south delhi seat and she is mrs. india queen title runner-up winner 2013 .

@Rubyyadav: You are requested to familiarize yourself with Wikipedia policy and guidelines. You've created a self-promotional article, probably identical to recently deleted Ruby Yadav and RUBY YADAV, on your userpage. Userpages are for organizing and aiding the work users do on Wikipedia, and facilitating interaction and sharing between users. However, a limited autobiographical and personal content is allowed to introduce oneself to fellow editors. Wikipedia is not a blog, webspace provider, or social networking site.   Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Another copyrighted image edit

File:Rubyyadav1 2014-04-16 10-27.jpg looks exactly the same in colour and date as one of the others. You don't own this one either, do you? Please take a new pic with your phone. Please do not use one taken by some photographer at Mrs. India Queen in December 2013. Thank you, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 05:08, 16 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

you can check any where this mrs. india queen images taken by me . its not available with any paper . kindly upload the same . thanks Rubyyadav (talk) 05:12, 16 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
The image cannot have been taken by you. You are holding flowers, not a camera. You first said one of the images that appeared to be the same colour and date, was taken from the newspaper. The other image that you uploaded was clearly cropped from a larger image, and you said that too was from the newspapers. I do not believe that you own the images. My guess is that they are press photos that you copied from newspapers around the time of the India Queen event. I cannot assume good faith with this. I must nominate the image for deletion. Please upload an image that you own. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 05:28, 16 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Do you actually own these? May I ask who took them? Who was holding the camera?

Anna Frodesiak (talk) 05:45, 16 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

I took these and i am holding camera .i have some more picks . you can visit Ruby Yadav website and check these are my images .no one have any copywriter on these images . Please upload these images Rubyyadav (talk) 07:21, 16 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
I dare not upload them for you. You said that some of the images were taken from the newspaper. Those exact same images are at your website. I have no confidence that you actually own them. I've asked a number of times if you "own" them. You've never answered that question. Take, for example, the India Queen images at your website that you uploaded before. You said you took them. But, you did not. Somebody else took them. So, you say none have copyrights? Well, please tell me how you got those India Queen images. How is it that you "own" them. Please try to use the word "own" in your reply. Many thanks, and sorry to be a bother. I must practice due diligence. Thanks, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 09:33, 16 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi Ruby Yadav, if you send an email from the one listed at http://rubyyadav.com to permissions-commons wikimedia.org, then we can mark all your uploaded images on Wikimedia Commons as validated, and avoid future challenges. As you are not always the one holding the camera in the photographs, it would help if you could explain in your email that all photographs published on your website and then uploaded to Commons have been released as part of your campaign. -- (talk) 12:27, 18 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Faelfae can you let me know why you want to delete this page ?? Why not delete other politician pages .any specific reason.Rubyyadav (talk) 18:42, 18 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi, the focus of the deletion discussion will be on the guidance of NPOL. The encyclopaedia has articles for people that are intended for the long term. With this viewpoint, candidates for political posts need evidence of encyclopaedic notability beyond running for a post. I would be happy to be proved wrong through a discussion of the sources, however from my browsing through them, I could not see sufficient evidence of this as most articles from newspapers were only about the candidacy. -- (talk) 19:26, 18 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

You all are genius editors , please help me to improve this article and let me know what all information you need . Else if you decided to delete this article then let me know I delete it myself. Rubyyadav (talk) 13:20, 19 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
