The page Conference on Asian Linguistic Anthropology has been deleted from Wikipedia. Request reason:
I myself have not spammed, not acted to advertise anything, and certainly no more than any other entity contributing to academia on wiki. I am simply posting information that expands awareness of the field, and the great academics within the field, both alive and dead. I am an academic, who is not employed at all, and I simply contribute to global societies in Linguistics and Anthropology.

Should you deny my entry, then that is your prerogative. But the truth is that I have not acted against Wiki policy, have no monetary intention, have not acted unlike thousands of other associations on wiki, and have only attempted to expand the field, and its very relevant nature. There is no autobiographical content here. The CALA stretches across networks with major universities globally, and hence is not a small independent cause. These organizations are SOAS, Temple university, University of Hawaii, University of Illinois, and over 150 others.
Decline reason:
I'm sorry but this request really adds nothing to the previous one which was declined. We want to hear that you are here to edit the encyclopedia at large and not a page on which you have a potential conflict of interest, and that you understand and agree to abide by our policies and guidelines. protracted discussion before I declined edit

I have attempted to write three times on this, as each time, my efforts have been thwarted. The second upload was submitted as a draft, and was to be revised. By independent reliable sources, if you mean references, and people who are not involved in Asian Linguistic Anthropology, then there is an immeasurable number of these sources, but I am not given an opportunity to revise this, and to more importantly show this to these independent sources to offer their endorsement and input. We should be given a several day opportunity to do this, but we have not been given this. Also, pages such as JSEALS have very similar intentions and frameworks, and they are now up. The CALA network and its scholarly intentions covers a network of hundreds of universities globally, and has a journal publication, as does JSEALS. There is no difference in intention, but the two differ in field. However, there are countless other examples, and we do question why a page on the field of Asian Linguistic Anthropology has been brought down, very unfairly, despite the benevolent and very non-profit aims, of a global network of people. This page differs in no way to the multitude of other pages on Language and Social Science. The page addresses the very significant issue of localization of Linguistic Anthropology, and its relevance to Asia. Much significant work has been conducted on Asian language and society, and this page opens doors for this. The page addresses a broader framework of Linguistic Anthropology that includes relevant people, and disenfranchised communities throughout Asia, who all need this page and its information to receive Social, Linguistic, and Anthropological, as well as educative opportunities, to alleviate their difficult circumstances. This information does absolutely not serve any monetary purpose at all. The Global network on Asian Linguistic Anthropology is supported by hundreds of scholars, who publish on and contribute to work in the field, work which has a history of over a century in its scholarship.
- You have not answered my question. In addition, who is "we"? Any article about this conference would need to only consist of what independent sources state, not what the conference or its representatives want to say about it. My association with the conference is that I am an academic who is contributing to the field, and as an academic, I have dedicated much of my life to the field, over the past ten years, as I have with thousands of others who contribute to the conference and the related associations. I am one of a large group of people who tirelessly work to expand the field to assist Asian academics and societies who are oppressed to receive voice. I do this by giving to the society and assisting the society to expand its visibility. I am absolutely not employed by the CALA, and all contributions are voluntary and academic. I am an Asian Linguistic Anthropologist who works toward awareness of the field, and this is central to the Conference. Incidentally, despite that the name is Conference, it spans and covers much more than a conference. There are two 'we's. The first is generic, for all wiki contributors, and the second symbolizes the collective mindset of Asian Linguistic Anthropology, all of whom have desperately wanted to have representation on wiki, and to funnel the information on Asian Language and Society through Wikipedia. There is no money in this, and we (linguistics, Anthropologists, and any associated society or journal) certainly do not benefit monetarily. Yes, correct, the fact that other organizations or the like have wiki pages does not warrant our inclusion, but, these can be used as benchmarks, which I am certain a great number of contributors do. However, other people and groups not abiding by wiki rules should warrant their exclusion, which was my point. Many bodies enter their own pages, on wiki, yet they are published.
I am prepared to immediately revise the content, given the opportunity.
- We can only address inappropriate pages if and when they are detected by volunteer editors. It is possible for articles that are inappropriate to exist for years. If unblocked, you are welcome to point out any inappropriate pages you are aware of. 331dot (talk) 16:11, 30 June 2019 (UTC)

- Hi. According to the definition of 'promote', every single Wikipedia page promotes its theme. Every single page raises its status through visibility. That is the central notion of 'promote'.
