Welcome! edit

Hello, Rubriguez, and welcome to Wikipedia! While efforts to improve Wikipedia are always welcome, unfortunately your contributions are not written in English that is good enough to be useful. You appear to be more familiar with Spanish; did you know there is a Spanish Wikipedia? You may prefer to contribute there instead. In any case, welcome to the project, and thank you for your efforts! If you need help, please feel free to notify me on my talk page. Eric talk 14:07, 28 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

¡Bienvenido! edit

¡Hola Rubriguez, bienvenido a Wikipedia! Eric talk 14:07, 28 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Edits to Spanish language edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Spanish language. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Rubriguez, as it turns out, Eric can speak Spanish at a novice level. But this is the English Wikipedia, and the material you restored is not written correctly. Also, please note that you were not logged in when you made that revert and, apparently, the original edits. I think you'll want to make sure you log in so you are editing with just one account.

The above message is a duplicate of the one I left on the talk page of the IP from which you made the edits to Spanish language. See Special:Contributions/79.159.110.249. I used the template because it contains standard language explaining some of the reasons for which I reverted your reversion. It would be best for you to create a new section at Talk:Spanish_language and ask for help introducing the material you want to add to the article. This may be helpful: Wikipedia:Talk_page_guidelines#New_topics_and_headings_on_talk_pages. Eric talk 14:16, 28 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you can't speak Spanish, you shouldn't edit the page Spanish Language. The statement from Real Academia de la Lengua Española about this discussion:
¡Good luck promoting that idea on Wikipedia! Eric talk 14:53, 28 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Rubriguez, if you can't write grammatical English, you shouldn't edit the English Wikipedia, as people keep telling you. Raise your point on the talk page. Johnbod (talk) 15:19, 28 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
I don't try to promove any idea. I only try to express a fact. Rubriguez (talk) 14:58, 28 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Could Johnbod show an example? Thanks in advance. Rubriguez (talk) 15:24, 28 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

And can I explain them my version? Or only can you speak to them? Rubriguez (talk) 16:02, 28 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

April 2020 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Spanish language. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you.
