Notes

Hi! So far your draft looks good, but I have a few notes:

  • Rather than stating that these are the most popular employers, I'd instead say that "The workplaces that employ the most people are....". Popular is a subjective term, so it should generally be avoided unless you're quoting or attributing the source to a specific person or outlet such as "according to...".
  • The draft could use more sourcing to back up claims. The sourcing should also be transparent about where the data comes from and should have a clearly marked editorial process and be known for their factchecking. For example, Data USA looks to take its sourcing directly from the US government, whereas Best Places creates their own data based on a variety of sources. I would check to make sure that these sources are routinely seen as reliable sources themselves by authoritative sources. I'd also recommend that you check your school databases to see if they have any information on the area as well.

Overall though, your draft looks good so at this point it's just fine-tuning the material and seeing if there's anything else to add. I'm glad that you're focusing on this area, as this is something that can often be overlooked with a lot of articles on towns and cities unless they're extremely well known meccas like San Francisco or New York City.
