Speedy deletion nomination of User:Rsgatlin1219
editHello, and welcome to Wikipedia. A tag has been placed on User:Rsgatlin1219 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. I was not trying to violate anything, I assure you. I was jotting down some events that happened yesterday. I would just like to ask if you would be so kind as to send me the deleted text so I can save it elsewhere until i understand how to use this platform better. --Rsgatlin1219 (talk) 18:46, 16 May 2024 (UTC)
- Is there anyway you can send me the deleted text? I was not trying to violate any guidelines but I would like to have my text back so I can save it elsewhere until I fully understand how to use this platform. Or maybe I cannot, but my intent was not to misuse Wike and i apologize. Rsgatlin1219 (talk) 18:48, 16 May 2024 (UTC)
- I will email you the text. I'm sure you were not trying to violate any guidelines. Almost all of us, when we start editing Wikipedia, know little or nothing about Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, so nobody can be blamed for starting out doing things that are contrary to policies and guidelines that they don't know about. Don't worry about that. JBW (talk) 12:39, 17 May 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for helping and understanding. 24.204.34.54 (talk) 20:59, 17 May 2024 (UTC)
