December 2020 edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for making personal attacks towards other editors. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 11:13, 7 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • This is not an acceptable way to speak to an experienced editor who was trying to help you by giving you some constructive feedback. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 11:17, 7 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • I also note that you have been getting some helpful advice from User:Bishonen too, but appear to have rejected that also. Experienced editors and admins have been trying to guide you through a number of key areas of Wikipedia policy (particularly relating to WP:V, WP:RS, WP:BLP, WP:PSTS, WP:Vandalism, WP:NPA, WP:Civility), but you have been responding in a dismissive and aggressive manner. You need to back off from your combative approach and start listening, or your time as a Wikipedia editor will be short. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 11:24, 7 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Boing, did you also notice the spelling of "Sitush" in the edit summary here? 31 hours seems very kind. Bishonen | tålk 11:27, 7 December 2020 (UTC).Reply
So is there still no response from Sitush or Bishonen to my comments on their unsubstantiated, opinion-based edits? Sitush declaring that "a breach of the Code of Conduct of the UK Houses of Parliament is 'trivial' and common and warrants removal? Or Bishonen claiming a page with many citations added was un-cited - and then being unable to address that comment? And Sitush (again) making offensive remarks. I might go on, but it is clear a certain cabal of wiki editors consider themselves above criticism and unaccountable in their opinion-based, childish and hypocritical remarks. I have better things to do with my time.

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for making personal attacks towards other editors. In addition, your ability to edit your talk page has also been revoked.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then submit a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System.  Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:00, 7 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • As you are doubling down on your personal attacks in response to being blocked for making personal attacks, and your entire short history of interaction here is dominated by repeated personal attacks, it is clear that a fixed-term block is not going to change your behaviour. And as you are using this page for the continuation of personal attacks, I have revoked your ability to edit it too. Should you decide to fundamentally change your approach to interacting with others, and feel you can make a convincing case that you can become a collegial contributor to the project, you can make an appeal at WP:UTRS. UTRS 38792 declined edit

UTRS appeal #38792

I'm sorry, but as you have not addressed the reasons for your block, I cannot unblock you. On reviewing your talk page, I see you were lucky to have been blocked for only 31 hours. I can see from your talk page and your response here why your talk page access was revoked. Please read and take in the feedback you've already received. If you do not, I fear you will again be blocked from editing the world's largest free content encyclopedia. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 09:40, 22 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

PS I see Boing! extended your block to indefinite. I concur, I'm afraid. Your response at UTRS was wholly off the mark. Please read up on WP:CIVIL. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 09:43, 22 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
