Questions about assignment edit

You didn't have any problems with the assignment, right? Pretty straightforward? Sadads (talk)

Salutations! edit

Greetings Rothboy2! I am Arbitrarily0, and I've been assigned as your mentor. If you'd rather choose your own mentor or don't want one, just let me know; you can request a different mentor from this list of Online Ambassadors. I'll keep an eye on your edits as you work on Wikipedia for your class, and try to pitch in where I can. If you'd like any help or advice, please let me know. Cheers, Arbitrarily0 (talk) 17:10, 4 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi again Rothboy2! I looked over some of your contributions to Biomass briquettes and I like what I see. Remember to keep citing sources whenever possible, and if you think of it, try adding edit summaries to your contributions. Don't forget that you can contact me whenever you need guidance at User talk:Arbitrarily0. Hope to hear from you soon. Happy editing, Arbitrarily0 (talk) 17:18, 7 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thought on references in draft edit

Hey, for the references in your draft, you should provide a little more bibliographic information in case the website is taken down for whatever reason. See WP:Citing sources for more help, Sadads (talk) 18:15, 29 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Commenting on quality issues on Wikipedia edit

Hey, I saw this edit. Talk pages don't get used very often unless people are watching the page already. Sometimes the better way to notify others that this needs to be fixed is to tag an article like I did with this edit. (Wikipedia:Tagging pages for problems explains the process) These tags add articles to Category:Wikipedia backlog so that other editors who are interested in fixing that particular problem can come through and do so. I regularly work on the backlog at Category:Orphaned articles. You will also notice that it adds a banner at the top of the page telling readers of that problem, helping encourage people to make changes if they know something about the article.
