Search Engine Optimization in Tasmania Australia is not very progressive at the moment (July 2007) Even though Tasmania is relatively isolated and has the Bass Strait between itself and the rest of Australia the internet has not taken off to the extent that it could do in the future.

Being isolated does not limit a companies ability to reach far away clientele be they China or the rest of Australia. Because of the internet opportunities more Tasmanian companies will start looking at the benefits that marketing on the internet can bring. It will mean learning about effective website design creation and especially Search Engine Optimization. SEO will become a more sort after activity in Tasmania as more companies get an internet site and experiment with the capabilities of over seas markets.

At the moment a few web designers are offering onpage website optimization with very few companies specializing in full SEO campaigns. This will change in the future as the internet use grows.
