April 2023 edit

Hello, I'm Veverve. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Thus Spoke Zarathustra have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Veverve (talk) 16:10, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

This is not advertizing, promotional, nor a soapbox. It is a fact. Further citations can be supplied. Frankly, I am sick of constantly having to put this fact into the Zarathustra subject area of wikipedia. 90.90.133.74 (talk) 16:18, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Put my contribution back. 90.90.133.74 (talk) 16:23, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Thus Spoke Zarathustra. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. Veverve (talk) 16:58, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Also, you cannot add 1) removed unsourced content (WP:BURDEN), 2) sourced but non-notable content (WP:ONUS). Veverve (talk) 17:00, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
All the content about the film was sourced, with notable content. 2A01:CB00:4CA:3C00:89FC:1F4E:AF95:987E (talk) 21:41, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
No one is adding promotional material to Wikipedia. I used objective prose. 2A01:CB00:4CA:3C00:89FC:1F4E:AF95:987E (talk) 21:39, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
PS The contents of the message of the existence of this film of "Zarathustra" is written in objective prose. 2A01:CB00:4CA:3C00:89FC:1F4E:AF95:987E (talk) 21:44, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Ronald Gerard Mith, welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions. Your editing pattern indicates that you may be using multiple accounts or coordinating editing with people outside Wikipedia. Our policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow this, and users who misuse multiple accounts may be blocked from editing. If you operate multiple accounts directly or with the help of another person, please disclose these connections. Thank you. Veverve (talk) 17:01, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

No multiple accounts. 2A01:CB00:4CA:3C00:89FC:1F4E:AF95:987E (talk) 21:42, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
I see two IPs on the talk page of a registered account. IPs are multiple accounts. I am not going to argue with IPs who may or may not be the user I sent warnings to. Veverve (talk) 00:07, 26 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to add promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Thus Spoke Zarathustra, you may be blocked from editing. Veverve (talk) 12:44, 26 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

I did not add promotional or advertizing material to Wikipedia at Thus Spoke Zarathustra. Explain your reasoning about why you continue to drop reeference to the only film of Zarathustra that exists. 2A01:CB18:8E0:6800:2093:3FC9:F915:AC5B (talk) 07:34, 27 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
PS That's "reference". Who are you to have the power to remove this reference? Ronald Gerard Mith (talk) 07:38, 27 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
You have never added any reference. And I have already stated the reason: WP:TRIVIA.
Another user has reverted you recently. You do not seem to be WP:HERE, but to be a WP:SPA. Veverve (talk) 13:39, 27 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Check Sources. Ronald Gerard Mith (talk) 15:24, 27 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you use Wikipedia for promotion or advertising, as you did at Thus Spoke Zarathustra. Veverve (talk) 16:14, 27 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Have you examined the sources of the legitmacy of this film of "Zarathustra"? 2A01:CB18:8E0:6800:8D18:9271:5B2A:A81F (talk) 12:23, 28 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

ANI edit

There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#Ronald Gerard Mith: adds TRIVIA and violates BURDEN (likely to PROMOTE), possibly uses undisclosed IPs regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Veverve (talk) 19:23, 28 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Are you serious? 2A01:CB18:8E0:6800:8D18:9271:5B2A:A81F (talk) 19:32, 28 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
When will this discussion end when someone takes responsibility for the idea that truth comes out of wikipedia? 2A01:CB18:8E0:6800:8D18:9271:5B2A:A81F (talk) 19:48, 28 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

April 2023 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing certain pages (Thus Spoke Zarathustra) for abuse of editing privileges.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text at the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Black Kite (talk) 20:42, 28 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
The reason to be unblocked is that it is unnecessary, unjustified, when it comes when one makes reference, on wikipedia, to a film of "Zarathustra" that exists. Also, your mechanism to prevent someone from blocking my reference, is overly complex, undermining your desire to get to truth. Ronald Gerard Mith (talk) 22:01, 28 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
The reason to be unblocked is that it is unnecessary and unjustified when it comes (block) when one makes a reference, on wikipedia, to a film of "Zarathustra" that exists. Also reasons for dropping my reference keep changing. Also, your policy over the last few years of keeping references seems to be changing, as film reference was left on for a long time before now. Finally, your mechanism to prevent someone from blocking my reference is overly complex, undermining your desire for truth. Ronald Gerard Mith (talk) 07:04, 29 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Is there any evidence that this work is significant, like reviews? Otherwise, your conduct here looks quite vain. Hemiauchenia (talk) 07:21, 29 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for a normal response. Of course there are reviews, it has been cited in a book and journal, was distributed by Films for the Humanities and Sciences and was recently streamed at a Philosophy conference at Brown Univ. last October - all these references were deleted by your "blocker". Check it out. I have typed the sources of the existence of the film so many times for you guys .... Whatever. Tell me what you need. Ronald Gerard Mith (talk) 07:45, 29 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
And, in addition to what I said above, under "Talk", there is even a "Trailer" for the film of "Zarathustra", on YouTube ... Isn't that all you need today to prove existence? Ronald Gerard Mith (talk) 12:30, 29 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Waiting for Hemiauchenia to repond back to me. Ronald Gerard Mith (talk) 07:30, 30 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
I've decided to resolve this by removing the section entirely. Hope this helps Hemiauchenia (talk) 17:35, 1 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Sources were added for the umpteenth time, I hope in the right place. Ronald Gerard Mith (talk) 19:01, 1 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

I removed your edit to Talk:Thus Spoke Zarathustra, which just put a tiny reference link where nobody would see it. If you want to discuss adding to the article, you'll need to start a new discussion there. Keep in mind that Wikipedia articles are largely based on reliable, independent, published sources with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy. Someone showing your film in a class doesn't meet our definition of "published". It would need to be recorded, broadcast, and archived by a reputable party. Woodroar (talk) 19:27, 1 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
PS This is the only film of "Thus Spoke Zarathustra" that exists. Check this fact. Ronald Gerard Mith (talk) 09:21, 3 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
