July 2019 edit

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Mariana Atencio. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Hello - please review the history of editing changes on this article. We have dealt with the previous content as too promotional, WP:PROMO, or inadequately sourced, WP:RS. If you want to add new material, discuss it first for other editors to review on the talk page first. Zefr (talk) 17:06, 22 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi Zefr, how do you suggest going about the updates? A lot of the information is outdated, all of the references added are articles from reputable sources. Rominotmichelle (talk) 00:55, 23 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello. It seems to me most of the content was generally similar (or the same) as those from 2017-18, which was heavily edited by Keithbob and me because it did not follow WP:BLP. Although sources are updated, I see many violations of BLP in your edit, and sense you may have a family (or close friend) conflict of interest, WP:COI, which you should declare here, if you do. I don't feel it's the responsibility of other editors to go through such a mass edit point by point to help you correct it and maintain a neutral view and style. The best way is for you to propose individual article sections for revision on the talk page, so they can be reviewed by others (to gain WP:CON) before going into the article. Note that TedxTalks is not a WP:SECONDARY source, and too much of the content and sources you added were like a promotional CV, WP:NOTCV. --Zefr (talk) 02:37, 23 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
