Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Exotics racing school, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. ttonyb (talk) 02:34, 6 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Exotics racing school. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. ttonyb (talk) 02:59, 6 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sorry; the page didn't meet our inclusion policies and was quite promotional. My deletion was nothing against you, and I understand that it probably took you quite a while to construct the page. If you have any questions, just ask. Regards, Airplaneman 03:30, 6 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Exotics Racing School

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Exotics Racing School, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Nomination of Exotics Racing School for deletion

edit

A discussion has begun about whether the article Exotics Racing School, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Exotics Racing School until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. PanydThe muffin is not subtle 22:23, 8 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi Romain, Despite appearances, your article going to AfD is a good thing. It gives at least a week to work on it before anything will happen. Please take part in this discussion, as your comments would be valued. What it needs most are references from external sources, such as the Las Vegas Sun piece. Another one or two of those would protect it from deletion quite well. Anny questions, please ask. Andy Dingley (talk) 10:20, 9 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
