KANAA KAANUM KAALANGAL : ORU KALLOORIYIN KADHAI is a series that portrays the lives of college students. The series has started in April 2011. Friendship, Love, Junior Senior Relationship, fights, jealousy forms these form the theme of the show. It is a considered as a sequel to the widely popular series of the same name Kana Kaanum Kaalangal

- Jaya: A happy go lucky girl, who always is behind Karthik, a Dancer.
- Vetri: A Good flirt & a close friend of Karthik.
- Bala & Kaathadi: The two most interesting characters who never take anything seriously,childhood friends of Karthik & Vetri
- Tamizharasi: A studious girl from village, develops a crush on Vetri
- Rajni: A girl of modern thoughts who treats boys as slaves.
- Priya: A girl from a Brahmin family, A homely & a decent girl.
- Jaggubhai: A Guy who wants to be an actor, but his parets want him to study 24*7.
- Pandi: A Minister's son, who has joined Engineering just for the sake of it, He is elder to all others (As he failed in XII for 4 times).
- Ashok: A very innocent guy who easily falls for Rajni.
- Sandhya: A tomboy
- Balaji: His brother has been engaged to Jaya, A very loyal brother who follows Jaya all the time
- Divya: Daughter of a local goon. A very casual girl.
- Saravanan: A guy from a very normal background, Has a crush on Jaya.
- Appu/ Kullan: A short guy, always been made fun of his height. Childhood friend of Saravana, Ashok
