Overlinking Nigeria

Yes, well. I think I saw the first reference to Nigeria in "President of...". If you don't count that your ref is the first sole one linking to just the country name and should of course be kept. Sorry about that, I have reverted this error. Britmax (talk) 20:04, 3 September 2013 (UTC)

Actually, your edit did draw my attention to the fact that it might be better to have the word "president" link to "President of Nigeria" and then move the Nigeria link to the first mention of the country - as in President of Nigeria - what do you think? Glasson and Pennington

Your latest edit to the article for Pennington, New Jersey removed Gregory S. Glasson as a notable. In your other recent edit for East Haven, Connecticut, you added a fact tag regarding the town's Italian-American heritage. Presumably, you believe that there sufficient reason to believe that the material is true, but that a reliable source is needed. Based on the content of Glasson's article and based on various sources available online that don't meet the reliable source standard, I believe that there is sufficient reason to keep Glasson in the article, but that an appropriate source is required. I can assure you that I reviewed every part of your edit to the Pennington article, and that I tried my best to explain each element in my edit summary, without making what you call a "blanket revert". Actually I was just assuming good faith on the part of whomever added Glasson to the notable people list, in that he was, in fact, from Pennington. ANYWAYS...... So, had no idea the UPI was sometimes (always?) bogus. Is this documented somewhere? And to my mind, I thought that rotten tomatoes *did* count as a source of Notability, and in particular, as a source that DVD distribution had occurred. Is that wrong? Or to put it another way, do they have your art-house-video Rocky, and various high-school projects from around the country? <joke> <humor> <smiley> <happy> <noBitey>  :-)   IMDB is user-upload-stuff, I know that much, but I thought RottenTomatoes was user-voting (kept separate from critic-voting of course), but only-editor-approved-editing-slash-entry-creation. Like Schmidt, some WP:GOOG effort convinced me that straight-to-DVD was pretty much the case. I did not find the festival-promo-thing, and while it would not count towards WP:N it would conceivably count as WP:ABOUTSELF slash WP:NOTEWORTHY if the festival itself was mentioned in some noteworthy-or-notable places. Anyways, it looks like the dedicated article is prolly heading out of mainspace and back into PrincessK's userspace, but there might be enough sources to put the film into a sentence of the Asner article? I see that you have again undone some edits that were recently made by ThemFromSpace. You have removed citations to more recent news articles and you keep putting back citations to older articles and re-using sentences from back when the Freeh report was first released. I think newer articles are more objective and neutral since some of Freeh's conclusions have now been questioned in the past few years. I'm sure more changes will be necessary as additional evidence is produced and tested later when the court cases of Penn State administrators begin. Please explain why at this point you feel it is necessary to state definitely that Paterno knew about the 1998 investigation instead of saying more neutrally that "Freeh concluded" that Paterno may have been informed about 1998 based on Freeh's interpretation of what the athletic director had written in emails to university administrators.
