Call to discuss a recently reverted edit

Hello. I just opened up a discussion on the talk page of the ACC tournament regarding whether the results should be called a forfeit, a walkover, or a no contest. Please take a look. Talk:2021 ACC Men's Basketball Tournament#Walkover, forfeit, or no contest?

One is fixed, the other has asked for help in the template talk page. So the editor who is helping would see what is going on. Pls do not removed sourced content. Thank you. Cassiopeia(talk) 00:39, 28 March 2021 (UTC)

@CASSIOPEIA: The stance still isn’t displaying and the reach is still showing as “66[1] in (168 cm)”. The issue isn’t “removing sourced content”. I was removing content that was displaying correctly or at all.--Rockchalk717 01:25, 28 March 2021 (UTC)
Hi Rockchalk717, It is ok that the source displayed first before the cm. The point is we need to source to support the content claimed which is the core policy of Wikipedia for verification. As for the stand, I am not sure it is a temporary technical error or it needs to be fixed for I have seek help - see here. We leave the stand info as it is until we have a reply. Stay safe and best. @CASSIOPEIA: I understand one of Wikipedia’s core issues verifiability. Too often on Wikipedia we get this idea that literally everything needs a source, which isn’t accurate (WP:BLUE). However that’s a moot point now anyways because I figured out how to solve the issue. When you add a source, use “reach=“ parameter instead of “reach_in=“ and that fixes this issue. Hope the stance issue is fixed soon.--Rockchalk717 01:58, 28 March 2021 (UTC)
Good to know it is solved. However, BULE does not applied in this instance. Thank you again for solving the issue. Cassiopeia(talk) 02:04, 28 March 2021 (UTC)
