Hello, Robyn001, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Yunshui, and as you already know I am your Online Ambassador for the UBC Human Ecology course. My job here is to help you to work within Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, to answer any questions that you have about editing here, and to act as your advocate in the (unlikely) event that you find yourself in a dispute with another user.

You are welcome to contact me at any time by leaving a message on my Wikipedia talkpage or by emailing me. I will usually respond to any messages within 24 hours (though I aim to be faster!), but if you need more immediate help, you can ask questions of experienced editors at The Teahouse or get live help via Wikipedia's IRC channel (connect here).

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. Once again, if you need help with any aspect of Wikipedia, please just ask; it's what I'm here for. Enjoy your course! Yunshui  08:23, 15 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Comments on your BIOL 345 proposal

edit

This is a very nice subject for a Wikipedia page. Here are some comments and questions for you to think about:

  • I found the very nice MOPARRC web page. What other resources will you use?
  • Might there be some related Wikipedia coverage under other names? Arts community gardens in other cities?
  • What other Wikipedia pages will you link to?
  • What other Wikipedia pages will you create links from, to your page?
  • You should also probably plan to go to the park and have a good look around. Take your own photos that you can use to illustrate your article. If this is not possible, maybe you can find photos on flickr and email the photographer for permission to use.
  • Please do your composing and editing in a Wikipedia sandbox. This will help build your familiarity with Wikipedia and will also allow me to keep an eye on your progress, offering help if I think it's appropriate.

Hey Robyn, Hope we can work together this week to put more information in the Sandbox and talk to some of the members in the MOP Community Garden Collective to get feedback and suggestions on how the page should look! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adamberson510 (talkcontribs) 19:06, 4 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hey again Robyn, I sent you a screenshot of what my sandbox is lookin' like so far. Let me know what you think! --Adamberson510 (talk) 22:01, 5 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hey Robyn, just sent the screenshot through email. Will be working on this all day tomorrow! --Adamberson510 (talk) 01:51, 8 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Robyn, really liked what I could read on your progress so far! I will show you how to send a legitimate screenshot through your computer thru email. Talk to you soon! --Adamberson510 (talk) 19:07, 8 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Robyn, I think it'd be much easier to copy and paste just the text that you've written through email as we don't want a wikipedia page literally showing up in either of our talk pages! For now, want to just send me the text you have and i'll throw it in my sandbox, try to format it accordingly, then take a screenshot to send to you for feedback? Let me know if this works! --Adamberson510 (talk) 20:39, 8 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hey Robyn, just sent that revised screenshot to your email. Hope you like! Let me know what you think. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adamberson510 (talkcontribs) 19:12, 9 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Looks perfect! --Adamberson510 (talk) 22:28, 9 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hey Robyn, there's a bunch of feedback on the Sandbox page. I will be going over it and improving our page in the next few days. See you next week! --Adamberson510 (talk) 19:51, 1 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hey Robyn, i've been going through and editing our wiki page throughout the week. If you see something worth adding/changing go for it! I'll be doing the same up until Tuesday. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Adamberson510 (talkcontribs) 18:23, 5 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

It's in both of our Sandbox's. If you hit the talk page on our Sandbox you will see the feedback. I've tried my best to correct the grammatical stuff and add a few references and a picture. --Adamberson510 (talk) 03:59, 7 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
