Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made an edit to a biography of a living person, but that you didn’t support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. Wikipedia has a strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Materialscientist (talk) 22:03, 11 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Sorry I missed your note, I’m not used to editing wiki. The only oage I’ve ever touched was Jerry Vale, because he is my dad and basic information such as his middle name, then the spelling of his first name and date of birth were wrong for years and my changes were not accepted even though I can prove he is my dad. I did, more recently add a sentence to the St Lucia(?), page, as they have a dispute with my music publishing company over nonpayment of royalties from the movie CASINO….but I think I have to redo that sbd sonehiw post the excerpt from the ASCAP royalty statement showing theat they’ll aired the film and paid nothing…..but not releasing the entire statement as it contains privileged financial info…..think it’s St.Narie….sorry. If you point out what I wrote that was in violation I am happy to provide backup proof as I’m not familiar with the wiki protocols, I just want my dads page to be accurate and am grateful to the many ppl like you who create and maintain wiki.   Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Jerry Vale. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you. My comments on the Jerry Vale are factual in nature and informative. They are only meant to further inform interested parties. None of them were in violation of Wiki policy or were made in the nature that you stated. Robvale (talk) 22:16, 4 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

I'm his don, abd longtime producer. I added easily verifiable minor facts. Geez. Robvale (talk) 16:46, 21 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I appreciate that you are, just make sure that you include a WP:Citation so that it can be verified   - AquilaFasciata (talk | contribs) 16:50, 21 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, I was just trying yo add free details to my own dad's info page. I have better things to do than find sources other than the fact that I was there, as a partner in his baseball and hockey teams and musical producer. I think I know he had a stroke, it's not reportably. Geez, trying to add color, yet you cite Richard Grudens book which is laughable due to the fact it took years to get him to fix the wrong birthdate, as it did in this page- I finally gave up abd some fan finally got it corrected thankfully. I'm sorry that you lost your father, I know how tough it can be. I can empathize with wanting to make sure that information about your father is correct; however, we're on the internet. I have no way of knowing who you are and the burden falls on the person adding the sources. Imagine if someone came on here and claimed to be Jerry Vale's wife and added a ton of false and defamatory content; you probably would be pretty irritated.
If you have any questions or need help, please let me know! - AquilaFasciata (talk | contribs) 17:04, 21 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I can provide written and photographic proof. Screw it. Like your info is so correct anyway, as it's tge internet as you said. Robvale (talk) 17:07, 21 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
