A tip

Hey there. Nice work with the external link warning thingy. A little tip - put the notice on the talk page, so the user will get the nice orange "you have messages" bar. If you put it on the user page, they might miss it. Nice IP signing off...216.191.200.1 12:51, 27 October 2005 (UTC)

Request for edit summmary

Hi. I am a bot, and I am writing to you with a request. I would like to ask you, if possible, to use edit summaries a bit more often when you contribute. The reason an edit summary is important is because it allows your fellow contributors to understand what you changed; you can think of it as the "Subject:" line in an email. For your information, your current edit summary usage is 20% for major edits and 78% for minor edits. (Based on the last 150 major and 64 minor edits outside the Wikipedia, User, Image, and all Talk namespaces.)

This is just a suggestion, and I hope that I did not appear inpolite. You do not need to reply to this message, but if you would like to give me feedback, you can do so at the feedback page. Thank you, and happy edits, Mathbot 04:19, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

The WAWB-TV 65 page

Robster2001, this is Time1, the author of the WAWB-TV 65 page. I want you to tell Scrabbleship to merge WAWB-TV 65 page to the WUPV page cause I'm done.Time1 18:08, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

Pictures from WAWB-TV 65 page

Robster2001, this is Time1, thank you for merging WAWB-TV 65 page to the WUPV page but what happened to all the pictures that were on the page. Contact me on my talk page.Time1 18:32, 19 March 2006 (UTC)

ABA stuff

I recently came across the edits of User:ABAsite, who appears to have added spam links to a discussion board to a number of pages. Since you are a frequent contributor to the ABA article, I figured you would know best whether these links are in line with WP:EL. If you could take a moment to check through the contrib log it would be appreciated. I am essentially on wikibreak right now as I'm moving to a new house, but will be checking messages again next week if you have questions. —WAvegetarianCONTRIBUTIONSTALKEMAIL 14:43, 28 March 2006 (UTC)

W-League

Let me explain why I re-added Montreal (soccer) to the W-League article. The removal was unmentioned in the edit summary, and the team article still exists with no indication that the team has moved or folded. I assumed it was an innocent error and reverted it. Even now, while I agree the W-League site contains no references to the team, neither can I find any evidence of the team moving or folding. Curious. Anyway, if you have any information on it, the Montreal (soccer) article would benefit from it. Powers 01:13, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

Columbus Cottonmouths

I was just curious why change the link from Columbus Cottonmouths to Team link. Dont get me wrong I wont change it back I will leave it alone. I just though it looked better with Columbus Cottonmouths. John R G 03:19, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

Roanoke Valley Vipers

Why did you take out the "Sadly" part? Neutrality is not indifference, and we should sympathize whenever possible. M. Burmy 9:25, 27 April 2006 (UTC)

Myrtle Beach ECHL

Why are you insisting it will be the Thunderboltz? The Thunderboltz were a proposed team to play in an Air Force base arena that was never built. The Conway, SC team will be different. Thanks! M. Burmy 8:51 CDT, 19 June 2006

Just keeping the link to the team article intact. -- Robster2001 17:29, 19 June 2006 (UTC)

Explain

Could you please tell an angry Australian user why you vandalised Steve Irwin's page? AntonioBu 18:50, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

Another person who shoots first and READS later... it was a problem with the "popups" tool grabbing the wrong revision when three people tried to simultaneously revert the vandalism. -- Robster2001 01:37, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

Thank You

Hey. I would just like to say thank you for completing the table on the Deal or No Deal page. I realised quickly that it would be no easy task but you came along and finished it for me so thanks alot. I really appreciate it. --Lakeyboy 06:48, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

Regarding edits to Richmond Ballerz

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Robster2001! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule oursportscentral\.com, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 23:27, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

TNA

See WP:PW. For now, we are just referring to them as "World Heavyweight Championship" and "World Tag Team Championship". When TNA does announce their titles, we will fix the links. This will be difficult enough with IP's, please don't make the job even harder for us at the WikiProject. TJ Spyke 03:31, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

The articles already exist, they are just redirects for now. Since the titles don't officially exist, we would just be reverting vandalism (since reverting vandalism doesn't count torwards 3RR). The project would appreciate if you help us out with this since many articles will be affected. TJ Spyke 03:37, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

DC Meetup notice

Greetings. There is going to be a Washington DC Wikipedia meetup on next Saturday, July 21st at 5pm in DC. Since you are listed in Category:Wikipedians_in_Virginia, I thought I'd invite you to come. I'm sorry about the short notice for the meeting. Hopefully we'll do somewhat better in that regard next time. If you can't come but want to make sure that you are informed of future meetings be sure to list yourself under "but let me know about future events", and if you don't want to get any future direct notices \(like this one\), you can list yourself under "I'm not interested in attending any others either" on the DC meetup page.--Gmaxwell 22:07, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
