Film notability

edit

Not ever film produced by Film and Music Entertainment is notable or deserving of a Wikipedia article. Please read WP:Notability (films) for the guidelines before continuing to write articles about the company's films. Specifically, Sweet Angel Mine does not seem to meet the criteria for inclusion. It received no significant coverage in any independent publication, and only a single review can be found, in an online film critic blog. Unless more notability can be established, the article will likely be deleted. Please remember that Wikipedia is not the place to promote your film company. References

edit

In general, IMDB.com is not considered a reliable source for noting awards that films have won. References to published articles or to the websites of the award-granting organization itself would be better. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 13:02, 31 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

You may not copy text verbatim from other websites, as you did when you copied text from this page to your Film and Music Entertainment article. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 16:14, 1 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding copyrighted material to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Guy X, which you copied verbatim from the film's website. If you continue to ignore Wikipedia's copyright guidelines, you will be blocked from editing. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 16:03, 2 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of StreetKids United

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on StreetKids United, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Speedy deletion nomination of Sam Taylor (film producer)

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sam Taylor (film producer) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ttonyb (talk) 17:52, 22 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
