Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used as a platform for advertising or promotion, and doing so is contrary to the goals of this project. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. PTJoshua (talk) 01:08, 14 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

The site I've edited was about the music of the Byrds. What I have done is set a link to an external site, that shows the lyrics of the Byrds. This external site is ad-free and there's absolutely no need to play with google-rankings, because it's number 1 since many years when you search for "byrds lyrics". So I thought a link would be a useful hint and addition for the readers. Robinbyrd11 (talk) 16:58, 14 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

April 2017 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion, as you did at The Byrds. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Spike Wilbury (talk) 21:11, 20 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
