Propaganda of the deed edit

Rob, thanks for your contributions to the anarchism article. The point you put in about propaganda of the deed is an important one - but as the editor said who removed it, I think there's a consensus at the moment that we need to trim the article and refer in depth discussion to the sub-pages on particular subjects. What I'd suggest is that you could find a way of incorporating the point that doesn't increase the size of the section - maybe trimming something else less important; and then put the detail into propaganda of the deed. That page could definitely do with some attention if you're up for it.Bengalski 18:06, 4 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

The current entry is inaccurate and doesn't contain proper citations. I would prefer not to delete other people's contributions but in my view that will be necessary in order to keep the size down. Robert Graham 5 March 2006

External links edit

Hey, external links are written using only ONE square bracket, as opposed to TWO square brackets for internal links. Just a heads up. :) -- infinity0 16:38, 11 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Robert Graham (historian) edit

Hey, I assume you're Robert Graham (anarchist historian)? I put Robert Graham (historian) up for deletion, as it seemed like a nonsense page to me. Would you like to comment? Thanks :) -- infinity0 21:35, 17 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the email, Rob. Most people reply on my talk page and I reply on their talk page, etc. Or, you could edit your discussion page (this page), but then I'm not informed of your reply, so it's up to me to check if you have replied.
Thanks for that citation. :) What about where Kropotkin says "possess the instruments of labour"? Does that mean he advocates a property system based on use, like Proudhon?
Robert Graham (historian) looks as though it's going to be deleted - I couldn't find anything to suggest that is a genuine person, so I put it up for deletion. -- infinity0 20:56, 18 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

On talk pages there is a + sign next to the "edit this page" button. That lets you automatically add a new section to the talk page. You can also add future replies in the same section by clicking the "edit" link next to the section headings. It's just a makeshift message system - confusing, but you get used to it :P -- infinity0 01:20, 19 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hmm, you don't know how to edit talk pages but you know about the {{mergedisputed}} template? I didn't even know about that template! Hehe =p -- infinity0 01:37, 19 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Anarchism edit

Sorry, I didn't think thoroughly over that revert. I just remember someone else reverting it for the same reason, and there was no discussion on the talk page. Revert it back if you want, but there might be people who disagree, so it would be best if you left a message on the talk page explaining it. -- infinity0 17:36, 1 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Anarchism: A Documentary History of Libertarian Ideas edit

Greetings, Robert. I notice you reverted a change I made removing some information about your history of anarchism from the biographical article about you. The reason I removed the information was because I incorporated it into a dedicated article on the work, at Anarchism: A Documentary History of Libertarian Ideas, and we try to avoid redundancy between articles. I hope this explains things, and that the new article is to your liking. Regards, Skomorokh 14:49, 13 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
