Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Business process management, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. --Ericdn (talk) 12:37, 14 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

The recent edit you made to the page Business process management constitutes vandalism, and has been reverted. Please do not continue to make unconstructive edits to pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you.  Doulos Christos ♥ talk  13:07, 14 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Business process management. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing.  Doulos Christos ♥ talk  13:19, 14 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Doulos: Do whatever you want. The point that your percpetion about what BPM is all about is very myoptic has become obvious and your bias to your view is the only correct one also stands out. By the way, do you work for the BPMI, a vendor, or just someone with too much time on your hands....

I received your e-mail. Regardless of your views, completely trashing and rewriting the article is not an acceptable solution. Using the talk page, as you've done, is good. You may also want to use Wikipedia:Contact us and/or Wikipedia:Contact us/Article problem/Copyright.  Doulos Christos ♥ talk  14:41, 14 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

As mentioned before, do whatever you want. I don't care if you want to remove my edit rights. I have alredy notified the copytright holders and they will decide what they want to do. I will also send this issue to the standards committee and suggest a series of articles written to specifically correct the misperceptions. As a side note, do you know the difference between workflow and BPM ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.129.56.224 (talkcontribs)

What copyright holders? If these copyright holders hold the copyright to something off Wikipedia, there's not much they can do except order their copyrighted work removed from the site. If they're on Wikipedia... then I have no idea what you're talking about. Writing additional articles to "correct" another article isn't allowed on Wikipedia, and said articles will probably be removed as quickly as they're written. Lastly, one doesn't need to be an expert in the field of a certain article in order to be a good editor and act according to Wikipedia's guidelines. Doulos Christos is a good editor. I am, however, somewhat worried about your skills, considering the bias, unwillingness to compromise and cooperate, and hostile attitude ("do whatever you want") you've shown. --Ericdn (talk) 16:17, 14 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Two IDs, one person?

edit

I noticed the post beginning "As mentioned before, do whatever you want" was written by IP address 71.129.56.224, the holder of which also has a history of improperly editing Business process management. Are Robert-blatt and User talk:71.129.56.224 the same person? If so, you may have forgotten to log into your Robert-blatt account in between sessions. Otherwise, it can get confusing trying to keep track of who is saying what when statements from two different "sources" are actually from the same person. In addition, you may want to read Wikipedia's policy about sock puppets. --Ericdn (talk) 16:24, 14 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

It does not count as a sock puppet unless it is used abusively.--Joshua Issac (talk) 18:12, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have been trying to correct the BPM page, and someone keeps deleting my corrections. I am the Committee Chair person for the following standard setting committees (along with heavily involved in ISO TC/171 and liason to TC/46/SC11)

ANIS/AIIM C21 Advanced Data Storage ANSI/AIIM C27 Document Management AIIM Implementation Guidelines

The corrections for the BPM page are shown in the history for the edits I have been attempting to provide. This information is publically available ARP 1 (www.aiim.org/standards)

Please let me know whether you folks want actual industry standard terminology or only personal opinions, before I spend any more time helping with the wikipedia effort

Thank you and I hope to hear back from you.
