Don't give up please edit

Hi! I just wanted to say please don't give up on wiki. We need more editors like you adding to the diversity on wiki. Women and non binary gendered people are marginalized. .. but we can fix it. I enjoyed your article and I'll see if she passes GNG tomorrow morning. :) Megalibrarygirl (talk) 04:32, 9 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Likewise! I honestly can't say whether Malissa_A._O'Dubhtaigh is notable according to the complex web of policies, guidelines, and essays that govern these sorts of things. But I can say (and have said as much in the discussion) that you and your article were treated shabbily in the discussion. Only a few know what gobbledygook like BLP1E means or would bother to explain it. But despite everything, I would urge you to get involved with editing and commenting. I hate to come out and say it, but as far as new articles on topics not favored by a few active editors, Wikipedia is closed for business. Most new submissions are marked for deletion as soon as they're received. But just a few days ago, the List_of_unlawfully_killed_transgender_people was saved. So new page work may be dead, but Wikipedia is a big place, and there are a lot of places to make a beneficial difference.--69.204.153.39 (talk) 01:29, 10 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
