DVD region map

I'm in agreement with you that the map is a geographical depiction, but it bears very little resemblance to the text of the article. Keeping it there is only going to confuse the matter. Belarus is listed as being region 2 in the text, but coloured for region 5 on the map. The same is true of the three Baltic States (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania), Ukraine, Moldova and Russia. That's just the list of what I can see easily on my monitor. In the absence of the skills to rectify the map, I'd suggest that removing it from the article is the best option for now. The ones I've listed are the most glaring ones, and in fact there are comments on the Talk pages of both the article and the map saying that they're problematic for various reasons. Really, I did Steve's page because I know more about him than Dan. I know in the global picture, Dan's more important, but I can't seem to find any info on him, strangely. No DOB or anything. That's why I started with Steve, because (on top of meeting him at Hillsong a few years back) I know more about him than the others, plus almost all of the interviews I could source seem to have been about him, probably because he's the integral music writer of the group, much as Haseltine is the lyricist. That said, I'd be glad to work on the article with you, though. cool and agree with the B-Class thing. I'm doing some researching about Dan and try to organaize my ideas. I met Jars on October 2005 and been working close with Blood:Water since then. I'll see what I can come up with. For now, I added to his wiki something very important (under biography section, cause it would be silly making a new section just for this, maybe later like, for example, personal work section) and recent, that is, his new children's book called Magnificient Me. Great! I forgot about the kids book, so that's definitely something mroe appropriate for his page than for the JoC page. Another thing, though trivial, would be to mention his writings, such as in the City on a Hill companion book that was released in the christmas after the first CoaH album was released. I bought it for a friend, so I only know he wrote in it, but didn't actually read what it was about (according to my friend, most people wrote very candid, normal stories, while his was alike or akin to Jars' music and very ambiguous, while pensive). Anyway, I don't know much about the content of his writings, but I know that exists and I believe there's more that he's written. Interesting thing...I'm doing some more research on Dan and his life (From the GM era there are lot of that kind of interviews) and I'll try to find more personal work, I know that he wrote and sing along with some artists (not Jars) in a CD too (can't remember the name though). Also, worth to notice there is that he is the founder of Blood:Water, the other jars followed him with the idea some month later. I also addded an image for his wiki and I'm trying to add one for each band member, but copyrights are giving me issues. A jark (member of jarchvies' forum) told me she made a correction to Charlie's wiki, saying that he didn't marry Sonja until after MA was released. In fact, if you look at the liner notes for MA, she's referred to as Sonja Griffith, so that is ok. she's also working in getting images for the other wikis, cause she took them, so maybe she'll throw them to GNU license or public domain...Thanks again!--FCA 23:13, 11 August 2007 (UTC)

Hey Lincalinca, I noticed what you'd written to Giggy about casting his eye over the above. Well, my first instinct would be to say you need a heap more references. A good clear fair use rationale for the band name logo is needed, use en-dash for date ranges, so (1984-1986) would read (1984–86), ensure citations are placed on the right hand side of punctuation where possible, e.g. ref [2] needs to go the other side of the comma, ensure you have a good solid fair use rationale for all the album covers - I'd be surprised if you can to be honest, normally you can use the image on the article of the album itself, but you'd need to be clever to get a rationale to use them on the band page as well. Yeah, I'm certain they're going to help! I'm aware about the need to rationalise the use of so many images, but the explanation is that unlike most artists, every album cover has a common thread and it's the reason I've placed them all into the page there. I suppose I could elaborate more on why I've put them all together (maybe just with a generic explanation template). As to the refs, I'm aware of their positioning. I must have just missed where people had placed them in other ways. As I said, Slabba's the kind of refs, so if he takes me up on the request (hopefully he will) he should be able to assist in that area. As to the en dashes, I'll update them now. To be fair, as long as you can come up with a decent rationale similar to what you've said above, i.e. the theme that runs through them, and you tag each image with the same rationale for its use in Crowded House then you'll be okay I reckon. The fair use thing is a kind of black art as far as I can tell, it strikes me that most people just copy one that already exists, which might suit your purposes here! I'll defer to you guys on this, I guess, but the review process calls only for "adequate referencing". Wikipedia's policy on citations is that "attribution is required for direct quotes and for material that is challenged or likely to be challenged." Perhaps, but the article needs to adequately verify claims made within it, e.g. "The album's second single, "Fall At Your Feet" fared a little better, but with lost momentum for the band it only reached #75." - this claim needs to be validated - it could fall into "material ... likely to be challenged". The article has now been tagged by another editor as requiring further sources, plus I've initiated a discussion with a fellow GA reviewer to see what they think. Yes, I think it's a lot better although I'd prefer to see page references for use of ref [1]. I think there may still be issues with the fair use of the album covers in this specific article, although as I continually maintain, I'm no expert! Thanks man. I'm trying to think of how to implement that info. I don't want to give up my cover rationales/gallery as they're completely covered by fair use, even within Wiki policy, and more than qualifies for fair use under International Copyright and Fair Use Media Practices. Cillian Murphy lead

Hello again. Thanks for all your help with the Cillian Murphy article as GA reviewer. Just wanted to ask you for a little more feedback re the lead section, which is the only thing left to address. I've been looking at the list of current FA actor/filmmaker articles via Wikipedia:WikiProject_Actors_and_Filmmakers, and I've noticed that many have rather short leads despite long articles. So I'm a little confused as exactly what should be added to the Cillian Murphy lead section. For example, should anything about his personal life and politics hit the lead section? I think a brief mention of his early music career should, but I don't feel sure of what else should be added. I think the acting career highlights are all already there. I was thinking something along the lines of this:

Cillian Murphy (born 25 May, 1976, Douglas, Cork, Ireland) is a film and theatre actor noted for his broad range of performances in diverse roles, as well as his distinctive blue eyes.

Initially beginning his career Murphy first appeared in a number of Irish and British film and stage productions throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, but first came to international attention in 2003 as the hero in the post-apocalyptic film, 28 Days Later. Murphy followed this success with performances as villains in two 2005 blockbusters, first as the Scarecrow in Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins, and Jackson Rippner in Wes Craven's thriller Red Eye opposite Rachel McAdams.

In 2006, Murphy's performance as transgendered outcast "Kitten" in Breakfast on Pluto earned him his first Academy Award Nomination for Best Actor. Further praise was garnered with Murphy's turn as a 1920s Irish revolutionary in Palme d'Or winner The Wind That Shakes the Barley.

A resident of London since leaving Ireland 2001, Murphy often works in or near London[8] and has expressed that he has no desire to move to Hollywood, unlike his County Cork contemporary, Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

I threw that last bit in there about JRM becuase I've read a handful (at least three) newspaper articles that talk about the "Cork uprising" which all refer to the fact that in a short period of time, these guys both sort of dropped out of nowhere, but that that nowhere seemed to be Cork. Other than that, that's the kind of framework I'd be interested in seeing in there. Don't take this as a re-write, but simply as an idea to go off. I'm aware most of the actors in FA don't have extensive leads, and that puzzles me, as the FA guidelines (heck, even the GA guidelines) as well as the description of an appropriate length lead in WP:LEAD all indicate the length the lead should be in proportion to the article. linca^linca 08:07, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

If you read through the entire article (current revision), there is absolutely no mention of the name being an acronym. Without that being clearly stated, how is anyone to know? Additionally, the group article title is Enzso (not totally capped) and there is no mention in that article that the title is an acronym. Without some indication that it's an acronym, Wikipedia:Naming convention still stands with the non-capped version as correct. Once it's proven in the article(s) that it's an acronym, there's no reason that it (or they, as in the group name) shouldn't be moved back and listed here so that it's not included in the next go-around when there is an evaluation of the "all capped" articles herein.
