Please do not blank out nominations, even if they do not go the way you want it. Don't worry about your first picture not getting approval on Wikipedia:Featured picture candidates. If you want a better sense of what a featured picture is, try looking at some first. See Wikipedia:Featured pictures. Granted some are very ordinary looking, but a great deal are remarkably highly detailed and pictures that you'd want to show on your desktop. --AllyUnion (talk) 07:47, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
