Britelite edit

Hi, you speedied Britelite with the summary "vanity, no claim of notoriety". Under which criterion from WP:CSD did you delete that article? --Tony SidawayTalk 15:35, 20 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Also in your deletion of Toa Warriors I think it's clearer that you're using CSD A7 (person stub with no assertion of notability). But I think this is wrong. The article you deleted clearly states that they "grown into a large united national Maori and/or Polynesian 'Union' or 'Alliance'", which seems like an unarguable claim of notability. Would you mind if I resurrect it? I think the subject may be notable within the context of Maori culture and history, and although it may not merit an article the information may be mergable. --Tony SidawayTalk 15:43, 20 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! edit

Rje -- Thanks for clearing all that up. Wikipedia can be a little scary at first :-). By the way, that old user name, Charlie Vansant WAS my old name, but I can no longer login to it, that is why I created Charlievansant. Any suggestions for getting that one back in use? Thanks for the help!

-Charlievansant

CHANGE-- Nevermind, I figured it all out! Thanks again Rje!

Jenas edit

I wondered how that had happened, but I was so convinced I'd just screwed up I didn't bother looking at the history. No problem about re-adding it; I was just about to do so myself after noting that Owen is down as a Liverpool player still and working out from that that the cats also include past players! Thanks for your support edit

Hi, just a quick note to thank you for your support on my RfA. I was pleased to see so much support, especially from people such as you who I do not know very well, if at all. Now that I am an administrator I will do my best to please the community’s expectations. Best regards, Sam Hocevar 17:00, 3 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Stadium reversions edit

Thanks for letting me know, I appreciate it! :-) Is it really true that the capacity is known to be exactly 25004? I initially thought that was a sneaky vandalism in progress because it seemed so awkward to quote numbers like that. --HappyCamper 23:35, 3 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

*Ah* I see. Now that makes sense :-) --HappyCamper 23:51, 3 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Taoism edit

Hiya, noticed the Taoism copy edits, think some of those towards the bottom that you've changed *may* be incorrect, mainly those where you have removed dashes or spaces from words - thought I'd mention it here first --PopUpPirate 21:23, September 8, 2005 (UTC)

Addiction edit

How's your Wikipedia addiction going? There might be a rehab for that sort of thing, you know. What about your addiction to reverting and blocking? Remember, you are not alone. Best of luck. --203.173.8.12 00:28, 9 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

RE: Request for Adminship edit

The reason I did not complete the form is that I could not work out what to do for the second step. I would like to make a sugestion that the process is automated more with a page with forms. Also that messages are more automated. If I cant be a full admin there should be something else that I can be. (unsigned comment by User:Adam1213).

My RfA edit

Rje-- Thank you for your comments concerning my RfA. I have answered my questions (and made comments concerning my history and JETFA) now, and while I am not here to try and persuade you to change your vote, I would like you to know my side of the story. I do not try to deny anything. I shall take your criticism to heart. Thank you for your time. --Lord Voldemort (Dark Mark) 16:52, 28 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your kind words, Rje. I did create JETFA in good faith. I understand that some people may tag articles that they do not have much expertise in. However, the {{expert}} tag should probably be used. If people would simply edit the article, rather than tagging it and leaving, people would not need to know which pages need attention, because none would. And like I said, is it any less mature than WP:DICK, WP:BJAODN, WP:BEANS (recently brought to my attention), or many other things here on Wikipedia? It was just an attempt to gather people around the call to Be Bold! And thank you for your consructive criticism. Everyone should go through the pleasure of an RfA, to help highlight areas they need to work on. Cheers. --Lord Voldemort (Dark Mark) 18:42, 28 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

Urnes stave church edit

The image you removed from Urnes stave church is the oldest known drawing of the church, made by one of the well known Norwegian painters from the national romance period. I'm going to add it back but I can wait until the article has some more text. — John Erling Blad (jeb)

It would be greate to have one on the team that is a bit more fluent in english! The general idea is to write articles about some of the medieval buildings in Norway, but we're all a bit short on time for the project! — John Erling Blad (jeb) 01:28, 15 October 2005 (UTC) comment originally made at User talk:Agtfjott Reply

Hopperstad stave church is now in the work. The norwegian article looks pretty nice, Nina has done a great job! I can fill in most on the english page but it could be nice with a final touch. :D
