Why are you notifying me about a speedy deletion request? I have nothing to do with the article. Clarityfiend (talk) 19:14, 19 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

I made a mistake while notifying user talk:65.246.108.97, so I blanked the section. Epicgenius (talk) 19:21, 6 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Mid-America Council Districts edit

Recently got a notice that my edits to the Mid-America Council page did not conform to Wikipedia policies. The only edit that did not get accepted was the correction of the council's districts. My guess is that the district known as Diamond Dick did not meet the policies. However, this is the actual name of the district and can be confirmed by following the citation link. Please advise what you would like me to do to fix this situation.

Thanks for the Welcome edit

I appreciate your welcome. I have been a IP editor for 10 years or so but have no desire to join the club. There are many of us who choose not to get involved in all the politics and such. I do enjoy contributing and at times trying to improve an articles accuracy and tone. I disdain those who cannot separate their personal views from professional editing. That is one of the biggest problems with Wiki editors whether they be an IP or an "registered" editor. To much agenda pushing and not enough neutral POV. My IP changes all the time as do many other editors. My third one in 2 days. LOL Over the years I have been able to figure out the neutral admins from the agenda pushers and those sympathetic to agenda pushers. Like I said before the politics are a big turn off and I am truly an independent editor by not being one of the "club." Thanks again for the welcome. Here is my IP right now. It is one of thousands. 172.56.12.77 (talk) 20:18, 6 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Le Courrier français (1820–1851) edit

I saw you tagged this article as unreferenced. In fact the article is fully sourced from Hatin, Eugène (1866). Bibliographie historique et critique de la presse périodique française. Firmin-Didot frères, fils et cie. {{cite book}}: Invalid |ref=harv (help), which is cited for each paragraph. Am I misunderstanding something? Aymatth2 (talk) 20:31, 7 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

  Previously, it was unsourced.Rivalnator (talk) 19:50, 10 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Your speedy nomination edit

Dear Rivalnator, if you find articles lacking sufficient detail to show that it is noteworthy, could you also consider adding this information rather than nominating it for speedy deletion? I believe that those articles which have the potential to be included, should not be deleted without discussion. Inwind (talk) 07:21, 11 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Question re "World Skateboarding Grand Prix" orphan tag edit

Hi Rivalnator, I did some additional clean-up work on my World Skateboarding Grand Prix article, basically removing a lot of internal links that were either repetitive or pretty obvious as to their meaning. I think it's a much cleaner article! I also looked into the "orphan" status and couldn't find good locations on Wikipedia to reference the article. However, I did find this page, which seems to be a summary of skateboarding organizations and competitions: "Category:Skateboarding competitions." Do you know if the World Skateboarding Grand Prix and/or competitions that it sponsors, including the Kimberley Diamond Cup, the biggest intl skateboarding event, can be listed? And might that help the orphan issue? Thanks in advance! Lawee — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yellowfin2014 (talkcontribs) 21:55, 13 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

N.C. Capital Tonight edit

Sorry, but your speedy doesn't apply (unless you know that the creator was blocked at a different account). The blocked user category only applies to creations made after the user is blocked, and this therefore cannot apply to creations by their original account. It only applies to socking or IP editing that's conclusively identifiable, or editing by meatpuppets on the blocked editor's behalf. (You wouldn't be the first to think it was a retrospective sanction, if that was the case...) Peridon (talk) 10:29, 25 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

PS I've prodded it. Peridon (talk) 10:29, 25 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Certainly. Since you had some involvement with the Certainly redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Si Trew (talk) 15:49, 4 May 2015 (UTC)Reply
