Daily Mail reference at Ian Cobain

Hi User:Robby.is.on - whilst I understand wiki has a blanket ban on the Mail, in this instance the ban doesn't seem a very nuanced approach given the quotation is from an interview, the interview was conducted by a shortlisted interview journalist at the National Press Awards and the whole page suffers from an over-reliance from material from one newspaper - the Guardian.

Thanks for replacing the Daily Mail reference. The DM has a history of fabricating quotes so we shouldn't trust them to quote people accurately. If the quote has any relevance (WP:DUE) it should be covered by other, more reliable news sources.

I agree the sourcing could be more varied. Robby.is.on (talk) 22:25, 14 May 2021 (UTC)
