Bir Uttam Shaheed Samad School and College, Cantonment Board moved to draftspace edit

Thanks for your contributions to Bir Uttam Shaheed Samad School and College, Cantonment Board. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it needs more sources to establish notability and definitely not ready for the mainspace. Vast amounts of unreferenced information had to be removed. The tony is chatty and subjective.. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. BoyTheKingCanDance (talk) 06:37, 26 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

April 2023 edit

Hello Rishad Talukdar. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Rishad Talukdar. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Rishad Talukdar|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 331dot (talk) 08:51, 26 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

As previously advised, your edits, such as the edit you made to Bir Uttam Shaheed Samad School and College, give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Rishad Talukdar, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Rishad Talukdar|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. Uncle Spock (talk) 05:02, 27 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Sir
I have told the principal of the college and he has given me the permission to make a wikipedia page of the college. Now what should I do? I have created a wikipedia article with the legal imformation of the College.
Thanked by Rishad Talukdar (talk) 09:44, 27 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
The principal cannot grant or deny permission for their to be an article about the college. That's not the issue, I just asked you to show him WP:BOSS. We're not interested in the "legal information" about the college, we want to know what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about the college, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable organization. You must also make the paid editing disclosure; please do so in one of your next edits, instructions may be found in the messages above. 331dot (talk) 09:50, 27 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Uncle Spock (talk) 14:21, 27 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

The principal, eh? edit

We are not interested in what permissions the principal gives to whom. Your principal does not dictate content in this encyclopedia. You will need to read and heed WP:PAID as a condition of unblocking. You will not be unblocked to write about the school or any subject with which you have an off-Wiki connection.
