Translation

Hi, I saw your contribution at WP:Pages needing translation into English. I didn't see the article before it was deleted, but I gather it was already in English, and you were suggesting it would benefit from content translated from German Wikipedia. WP:PNT is for handling non-English material that (contrary to the guidelines) has already been added to English Wikipedia, in the form of either a whole, new article, or an addition to an existing article, but not to request that somebody translate material from another Wikipedia. For that, see WP:TRANSLATETOHERE. It points to a family of tags, one per language, that you can place at the top of articles to suggest replacing or supplementing them with a translation of material that can be found at another language's Wikipedia. Spanish-French Railroad War moved to draftspace
