Modern Whig preexisting/predating edit

Yes. Your suggestion is better. I will edit shortly. Thank you. J SoxFan999 (talk) 23:03, 17 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thought it better to just say when the Florida Whig Party was founded as it then is obvious that it predates the national Whigs. SoxFan999 (talk) 23:07, 17 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Muncie Free Press edit

The Muncie Free Press is certainly not a reliable source.. it is "citizen journalism" - see http://www.cyberjournalist.net/links/002993.php. --Omarcheeseboro (talk) 23:33, 5 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

I would suggest that you also remove any Drudge Report link on Wikipedia also. Rigga101 (talk) 23:36, 5 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
If you would like to restore the content, you are welcome to ask if it is reliable source at the Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard. --Omarcheeseboro (talk) 23:38, 5 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Do you consider the Anderson free press "credible"?Rigga101 (talk) 23:55, 5 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
I never heard of it before, but a few google searches shows that it's similar to the Muncie Free Press one. It's not a wp:reliable source.. read the link, especially the part about self-published sources. --Omarcheeseboro (talk) 23:58, 5 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Self-Published like Drudge Report? Rigga101 (talk) 00:01, 6 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
If you have a problem with the Drudge Report being cited in other articles, I suggest you make a post at the Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard. I'm not too familiar with that site. My post here was about the Muncie Free Press, and the reasons it is not a reliable source are clearly backed up in the reliable source guidelines. Thank You --Omarcheeseboro (talk) 00:24, 6 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
