Commercial use of Image:Logo very small.JPG

edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Logo very small.JPG, by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Logo very small.JPG is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only" or "used with permission for use on Wikipedia only" which was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19 or is not used in any articles (CSD I3).

If you created this media file and want to use it on Wikipedia, you may re-upload it (or amend the image description if it has not yet been deleted) and use the license {{GFDL-self}} to license it under the GFDL, or {{cc-by-sa-2.5}} to license it under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license, or use {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain.

If you did not create this media file but want to use it on Wikipedia, there are two ways to proceed. First, you may choose one of the fair use tags from this list if you believe one of those fair use rationales applies to this file. Second, you may want to contact the copyright holder and request that they make the media available under a free license.

If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Image:Logo very small.JPG itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. If you have any questions about what to do next or why your image was nominated for speedy deletion please ask at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Orphaned non-free image (Image:Logo Large.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Logo Large.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 02:45, 21 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Notability of New Flight Charters

edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on New Flight Charters, by Russavia (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because New Flight Charters seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting New Flight Charters, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 21:09, 3 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of New Flight Charters

edit

New Flight Charters, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that New Flight Charters satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/New Flight Charters and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of New Flight Charters during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Russavia 22:20, 3 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

New Flight Charters

edit

Three reasons were raised during the AFD:

  • Promotional material. Blatant violations can go under criterion G11 for speedy deletion.
  • Conflict of interest issues. As much as possible, a company or person should not write an article about themselves.
  • Notability. There were no secondary sources in the article, and three editors searched for sources but could only find one (a review). Which means the subject may not have the sufficient notability needed to have an article.

Given the circumstances, the best thing to do is to look for non-trivial secondary sources independent of the company first. If you are unsuccessful, then the company is not suitable for inclusion at Wikipedia. Sr13 is almost Singularity 19:23, 8 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image:Name.ext listed for deletion

edit

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:Name.ext, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you.
