Hello, welcome to my talk page!

If you want to leave a message, please do it at the bottom, as a new section, for better formatting. You can do that by simply pressing the plus sign (+) or "new section" on the top of this page. And don't forget to sign your messages with four tildes, like this: ~~~~

Attention: I prefer to keep discussions unfragmented. If you leave a comment for me here, I will most likely respond to it on this same page—my talk page—as an effort to keep the entire conversation in one place. By the same token, if I leave a comment on your talk page, please respond to it there. Remember, we can use our watchlist to keep track of when responses are made. At the same time, feel free to send an alert to me on this page about a comment you have left elsewhere.

Thank you!

English language edit

Hi! Shouldn't the English language page read "Its vocabulary is primarily influenced by other Germanic and Romance languages, particularly by the French and Latin languages"? According to the statistics on Latin influence in English, Latin and French are equal vocabulary influences on English. OK... so maybe "Latin" here refers generally to Romance influences other than French? If that's true, then how about this as the wording: "The majority influence on its vocabulary is from Romance languages, particularly French" (seeing as we're trying to get across the fact that Romance [and especially French] influence is in the majority, even over Germanic influence). Thanks! Wolfdog (talk) 23:14, 22 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open! edit

Hello, RichardHarris22. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Reverting edit

We don't revert established editors. We simply make the edit changes. We revert VANDALS. P.S. The worst reason on the planet for keeping the wrong description of something in an article is: 'There is a TV showed named that'. That's a first. Maybe we should call the article Gilligan's Island.Pocketthis (talk) 17:03, 20 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Ellie Goulding edit

Hi, I'm not sure why you reverted my changes to the climate change thing? Ellie really worries about it! Thanks! Have a great christmas btw! ReverieDreamer (talk) 12:20, 22 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi, can you please just keep the climate change activism? Ellie's manager Jamie told me to add that in when he direct messaged me on Twitter. See here: http://imgur.com/a/DKfq5 ReverieDreamer (talk) 12:41, 23 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Editing regarding Lionel Messi's page edit

Richard I appreciate that you want to prevent excessive details regarding Messi's goals but I would like to point out that this goal-scoring run has broken multiple records and it should be described in detail. So kindly let it remain as it is for now. I respect this player and his contributions must be noted in best manner possible. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rahul Dhanwani (talkcontribs) 20:55, 17 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
