Concerning Abdelmajid Lakhal edit

You have asked me on my Talk Page to look at this article. All the work done by other editors on this article seems well done and implies no criticism of your work. In particular, the 'unlinking' of the many dates (e.g. 1980) is now a common standard on WP:EN. There is no point in linking every year mentioned in an article to the article for that year, and editors frequently unlink those years when they come across them. It would be worth making a link, only if there is something particularly relevant about that year in the article itself. As soon as I have time, I will edit the article myself, to remove any grammatical errors that may exist. Best wishes --Greenmaven (talk) 23:19, 2 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

Just add a line to the top of the article containing the word copyedit enclosed in two of these pairs of braces {} (see my example by editing this line) --Greenmaven (talk) 22:11, 16 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
I have done the CE. Note: I have unlinked all the years because this is now discouraged on WP unless there is a particularly good reason. I am happy to have helped you with this. Regards --Greenmaven (talk) 00:50, 17 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Sole nudo edit

Done. Please read it through, as I may have misinterpreted your meaning (about the waiter especially, and the friend who helps: helps to leave Rome or helps to find a job?) --Greenmaven (talk) 07:51, 18 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Sascha Zacharias edit

I will do it today, perhaps in the next four hours. I am just going out for coffee. What is your time-zone? UTC + 1? --Greenmaven (talk) 22:00, 11 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Done Please unlink the years before I look at articles for you, as we discussed previously, e.g. 1920 should be 1920, unless there is a particularly good reason for linking to it. --Greenmaven (talk) 02:22, 12 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Re: Moretta edit

Hi - I took a quick look at the article and tried to do a bit of copyediting. (I think in English one would drop the definite article the (as in moretta instead of the moretta) and I thought 'common' might be a better adjective than 'typical', as typical often suggests that the drink is not only widespread but also exemplifies the cuisine of the area. Anyway, I tried to correct some of the more basic stuff but it may be useful to have an editor who knows a lot about coffee (I usually just drink it black) or someone who is a good speaker of both English and Italian to take a look. Also, the current reference comes up as a 404 error. Let me know if you have any questions. (Don't feel bad if your English isn't perfect - the English WP could use a lot more editors who aren't from the 6 or 7 main English-speaking countries, even if it requires a few corrections.) AlexiusHoratius 16:29, 20 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

I have had a look at it. Could you put a tag on it to say it requires copyediting? The simplest way of doing that is to use Twinkle or to add {{Copy edit}} to the top of the article page. I am not doing much editing this month because of other commitments, but I will do Moretta for you. Please tag articles like this for me. --Greenmaven (talk) 11:57, 20 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
I have added further changes to the other editor's work, whose help you requested. --Greenmaven (talk) 06:20, 22 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for October 18 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Francesco Buzzurro, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Edel (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). I fixed a few things but there is a sentence in Italian that still needs to be translated and I wasn't sure what "for the feeling transmitted" meant. AlexiusHoratius 14:51, 17 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

From Bgwhite's talk page edit

These are not warning. These are disambig page notifications. In your recent edits you have added links pointing to disambiguation pages. To clarify it— I wrote somewhere: Elegy written in a Country Churchyard is an English poetry. Now, click on the link English, it'll take you to a disambiguation page where "English" may refer to many things like 1) English language, 2) English literature 3) English people 4) English Grammar..
So, linking "English" is ambiguous there..
I have to correct this to Elegy written in a Country Churchyard is an [[English language|English]] poetry. Which will return Elegy written in a Country Churchyard is an English poetry.
Similarly, pages like SDB etc are disambig page, you have to link the exact pages which you wanted to link. In the notifications above there are option "fix with dabsolver", you can use it to quickly solve those! --Tito Dutta (talk) 15:32, 24 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

In your this edit you added the link SDB. But click on that link you'll get lots of entries on SDB. Which one you tried to link?--Tito Dutta (talk) 20:42, 24 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
If you add dablink again, it'll notify you after 1-2 day(s) of adding those links. If you don't want to get such messages, add {{bots|deny=DPL bot}} ar the top of your talk page. But, actually there is nothing wrong in these messages. The bot sends such message to hundreds (if not thousands) of people everyday! --Tito Dutta (talk) 01:26, 25 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Orlando Drummond edit

I did a bit of work on it but wasn't sure what to do with "Seu Peru dans l'émission Escolinha do Professor Raimundo". If the whole thing isn't a proper noun the part that isn't a title should be translated into English. AlexiusHoratius 18:55, 30 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Made some changes. Is this "Seu Peru dans l'émission Escolinha do Professor Raimundo" one piece of work or two?—unclear. Also - it is a short article and I would make "Participations" into a list, as for the preceding section. Best wishes --Greenmaven (talk) 19:04, 30 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Re: Orlando Drummond edit

The article looks fine. Lead and Personal life sections can be expanded.
You may get some help here: Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL --Tito Dutta (talk) 21:47, 30 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yes, you can, though Tito Dutta is my real name what I use in Wikipedia! --Tito Dutta (talk) 23:39, 30 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
  • Lead says- Date of Birth August 8, infobox (and also persondata) says August 9.
  • Create a Commmons category and add that link.
  • Lead needs expansion! --Tito Dutta (talk) 16:51, 12 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Waldemar Esteves da Cunha edit

Sorry for the delay (I've been really busy lately and am about to take a long trip for Christmas). Anyway, I did a bit of copyediting on it but some of the parts are still unclear, in particular the current 4th and 5th paragraphs of the main body. Like I said I'll be away for a bit, but will take another look after I get back in about a week. Have a good Christmas and a happy new year. AlexiusHoratius 16:10, 18 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Adriano Ciocca Vasino edit

Hello, Rex Momo. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Adriano Ciocca Vasino, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Adriano Ciocca Vasino to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks, YPNYPN 14:59, 20 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

I noticed you added a few references, so I removed the deletion notice. If you need anything else, feel free to leave me a message -- YPNYPN 22:45, 20 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Re: Luiz Carlos Prates edit

The article looks good, add spouse's and children's names, not number! --Tito Dutta (talk) 15:06, 31 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

I did a bit of work on it - generally "announcer" works better than "speaker" if you're talking about someone who calls games on the radio. Other than that it looked okay, although you may want to take a look at the last edit I made, as I didn't know what the original version was speaking of exactly. Also, the final sentence isn't very clear. AlexiusHoratius 21:23, 31 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
