ItsZippy (talkcontributions) 18:26, 17 May 2012 (UTC) As I would like to point this out- It seems most of the adminstrators of Wikipedia like to delete things for personal reasons. Policies and guidelines are not being followed properly, as I have begun full research along with some students to determine why it is, some kids, some how manage to get the right to be Adminstrators and participate in random deleting of pages. These are the same admins, that claim they guard against vandalism, poor edits, and keep things legit. However, who really determines that? Recently a page was up for a "Speedy" deletion for the simple fact they didn't have enough external links. They had, I what I remember was 7. But the more posts I read in the old wiki, I realize it's not how legit you are, but how many times you can link to other things, and if you link to other things, that may not please an adminstrator, you will be up for deletion. So this is a growing probelm with the internet. A few years from now, when begin searching the wikipages for information, and you find it has been deleted, because either it's not current pop culture or doesn't fancy an admin, then poof you're gone....and what makes it even sadder, an Legendary American Punk band page, was deleted, by teenagers from Europe. So I assume it's my American duty to go an delete Cliff Richards or Sham 69? Nah, I can't play that game. I am really upset that the fate of pop culture on wiki of the past, present and future lies in the hands of some kids somewhere who aren't even old enough to go to most punk shows, let alone make the decisions to erase someone from wiki...as if they never were even born. I read anther band, who is has a wiki page, boast about their record sales, with absolutely nothing to back it up, and boast about bands they toured with as a way to have "links". They get to stay, but a band that strictly listed the facts got canned. Sad. I should contact that old band and tell them just to put a shit ton of lies on a page claiming they each played in Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band- What's it matter anyway, the admins will probably delete Bruce Springsteen too... I guess the lie should be, what's popular, Lady Gaga...there ya go. Down with WIKI admins. Check yer facts before you just randomly make choices.Reply
