Citing edit

Hey there! I'd just like to say that whenever you cite something, can you fully cite it with the title, source, author, date, etc. instead of just putting in the url? I've enhanced all your cites so far on articles like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, but it would be nice if you could do it yourself. Thanks! Saru786 (talk) 20:21, 17 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Copyright violations edit

Don't cut-and-paste large chunks of text from other sources. That violates copyrights, and continuing to do so will result in you being blocked from editing.—Kww(talk) 18:30, 2 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

OK, im sorry :(

Disambiguation link notification edit

Hi. When you recently edited Need for Speed, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Fast and the Furious (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The Last of Us edit

Please keep additions to the article encyclopedic in tone. Phrases such as "the team's passion for and belief in the project is palpable", "the wake of the brutal crunch endured by the Uncharted 3 team in order to meet a release date it recklessly announced a year in advance, that should come as no surprise", in addition to the large number of inserted quotes, make it look like a magazine article. SynergyBlades (talk) 12:36, 5 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Actually, just Googling the quotes I can see you've copied and pasted straight from the Eurogamer article, something you've been asked not to do before, according to your talk page. SynergyBlades (talk) 12:37, 5 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

Jak and Daxter Collection edit

Hi, your argument of "The Collection should have it own article, like "The Sly Collection", "The Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection", and "Metal Gear Solid HD Collection"" holds no water. See WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. What you are doing, finding sources, is a good thing, and is helping to keep the article. Keep doing that, and maybe after the release date, more sources will come up with reviews or something. Then, the article will be worthy of keeping. As is, it is still a little weak. Ports, remakes, and collections are held to a higher standard then normal games. Because they have mostly the same content as the other games, it needs sources showing its distinction from the game it was made from. There needs to be a very significant amount of both development and reception. The sources should talk about the collection as if it was a new game instead of simply a collection. Otherwise, it does not need an article. So I advise doing what you are doing now, but at User:Replaystay/sandbox or User:Replaystay/Jak and Daxter Collection, and bringing it up at WT:VG when you want to see if it is acceptable yet. Agent (video game) edit

Hi Replaystay

I have reverted your edits to Agent (video game) because you did not provide any explanation why you did it. you should always provide a reason for any edits you make, particularly if you are reverting changes to pages. Looking at the revision history of the page, I see you very rarely provide a reason for any edits you make, and when you do, it is usually "better like this". At the very least, perhaps you could consider telling everyone why you think the page is better that way?

Reading over old versions of the Agent page, it had some serious issues that needed to be fixed. For one, most of the article was little more than quotes taken from press releases and what little was not a quote was simply text explaining the origins of those quotes. This is not an acceptable way to write an article. Quotes are acceptable, but not when they make up 90% of a page. I would suggest you take a look at similar pages for an example of how an article should be written.

I also cannot help but notice that you have been the most-active editor on the Agent page in the past three months. This, in itself, is not a problem; I have been known to be highly active on other pages. However, combined with your tendency to revert changes without explanation, I feel that I should remind you that you do not own the page, and you have no claim of ownership. I am not accusing you of anything here - I just think you need to be aware that Wikipedia's policy state that "no one, no matter how skilled, and regardless of their standing in the community, has the right to act as if they are the owner of a particular article." ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
