Could you provide some reference for that holiday. I can't find anything to indicate that anyone celebrates it. Thanks. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 19:41, 28 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair Use Images edit

Please do not add Fair Use Images, such as the images in your userboxes of Sonic, Walugi and Mario, you had on your userpage, it is a breach of copyright. Sorry if I damaged any other userboxes. Cheers, Highway Rainbow Sneakers 21:27, 13 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I'm still new at the whole userpage thing. :/ RememberMe? 23:25, 13 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Looks like you still got some Fair Use images on your user page, such as the Nintendo, Sega, and Wii logos. The explosion one is "undetermined," so it might be alright to keep it there.--The Ninth Bright Shiner talk 19:07, 24 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Your edit to Nintendo edit

Your recent edit to Nintendo (diff) was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to recognize and repair vandalism to Wikipedia articles. Lol. It was vandalized, so I rved it, but then the anitvandal bot was just about to revert the vandalism, so it counts as reverting mine. Just clearing my name. RememberMe? 21:33, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
This [1] doesn't look like an rvv to me -- are you sure you've got the right page versions in mind? Luna Santin 21:44, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
The version you have reverted had problems already. I reverted to the latest clear one. -- ReyBrujo 21:47, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
I guess whenever I rv'd it, someone had just rv'd it before me. Well, whatever happened, I was trying to get rid of the vandalism, so I hope nothing was taken the wrong way. RememberMe? 23:33, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
Besides, look at my userboxes. I prefer the GameCube, play Mario, Star Fox, and Pokémon. Why on earth would I vandalize the Nintendo article!? RememberMe? 23:35, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Smashwiki Entry edit

Good day, Rememberme?. Quite a while back, you asked me why you could not gain access to [Smashwiki. I believe I just made a breakthrough in WHY exactly you couldn't log in. I just learned that having an underscore (_) in your name will result in an error in the Wikipedia software for logging in, giving you an incorrect error about it sich as Simna_ibn_Sind uses his OMNIGAMER alt. I have gathered a hypothosis that if you have a question mark (?) in your name, such as RememberMe? does, the same error with the underscore (_) may apply with your question mark (?). If this is the case, I recommend creating a second SWF alt and then try logging in to Smashwiki with that. Be very sure to make the point that it is an alt account across, as to not spark any suspitions about sockpuppets. Good luck and I hope to see you there. Oddeven2002 19:12, 17 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your help. I saw the message on SmashWiki, and made an alt., so problem solved, but thanks for trying to help, anyway. RememberMe? 01:29, 18 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

SVG?? edit

Is it possible to upload SVG files, and have wiki automatically convert it on the fly to png? If so how do I do this, when I tried to upload an SVG it said it was not a recommended format, I did not see a way to force it to go. I noticed in the uploaded files area you have a couple that are .svg.png. --Green-Dragon 06:39, 3 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Um...I'm not entirely sure why you're asking me of all people, but isn't there an "ignore all warnings" button that forces it? If not, you could just search for an image converter on the internet, or just open it in an image editor and save it as a PNG. RememberMe? 06:52, 3 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Non-free use disputed for Image:DeDeDe.JPG edit

  This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:DeDeDe.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our Criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 11:31, 2 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Piranhaplant.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Piranhaplant.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 00:39, 25 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
