Starting versus final rank of appointments edit

I noticed you've systematically changed articles on military leaders to give their final rank in a particular appointment rather than their starting rank. This kind of change should probably have a consensus behind it before it is made in this sweeping manner. --Yaush (talk) 21:13, 4 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Welcome back and project invitation edit

Hey,

I just saw your edits on military history topics and you returning after longer absence, so welcome back. Beziehungsweise willkommen zurück im englischsprachigen Bereich. Don´t know if you are already aware but there is the WikiProject Military History which provides resources, structure and a discussion area for editors interested in that field. It also has more specified task forces; looking at your edits you might me interested e.g. in those about the American Civil War, Germany or World War II. No requirements so you´re free to take a look and if you´re interested just sign yourself up.

Also, if you´re interested in more discussion about the American Civil War apart from editing and wikipedia, or deeper or more complicated matter, I can only recommend the excellent forum http://civilwartalk.com - an awesome place (free as well). Anyway, thanks for editing about military history and enjoy your time. ...GELongstreet (talk) 22:13, 29 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
