Too technical

Hello. Was it your intention to add "This article may be too technical for most readers to understand." (with jargon) on the page Apache Qpid? Christian75 (talk) 17:50, 27 March 2017 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Matt Szczur, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Grand slam. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Ways to improve 2017 WNBA Finals

Hi, I'm Boleyn. RedSoxFan274, thanks for creating 2017 WNBA Finals!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please add sources.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

ArbCom 2017 election voter message

Hello, RedSoxFan274. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)

Most users are updating their signatures as requested. We hope you will also. —Anomalocaris (talk) 20:23, 3 May 2018 (UTC)

To be completely honest, every time I’ve tried to put in the new coding (which I have no opposition to doing) it won’t fit in the signature markup box. It cuts off at the end of the last </span> tag. –RedSoxFan274 (talk~contribs) 20:54, 3 May 2018 (UTC)
Sorry. I should have verified that my proposed string was within the 255 character limit. Try this:
<span style="color:#c60c30">Red</span><span style="color:navy">Sox</span><i style="color:teal">Fan274</i> (talk<span style="color:teal">~contribs)</span> : RedSoxFan274 (talk~contribs)

Ah, that fits now! It’s been changed. Sorry I didn’t get around to it earlier. Thanks. :) –RedSoxFan274 (talk~contribs) 21:07, 3 May 2018 (UTC)
Thank you for updating your signature, and sorry for not getting it right the first time! —Anomalocaris (talk) 21:11, 3 May 2018 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Paraspur, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gonda (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:27, 4 May 2018 (UTC)

Bypassing redirects - and why not to

Hello, Red Sox fan :) Regarding this edit, please see WP:NOPIPE and WP:NOTBROKEN. Long story short, there is no need bypass redirects. They are perfectly fine and in many cases helpful. Surtsicna (talk) 15:43, 22 May 2018 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2018 Boston Red Sox season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page David Price (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver).
