sigh edit

Seems to be as I expected, regional Wikipiedia articles get declined when translated for lack of relevancy. I always thought Wikipedia was attempting to be an all-encompassing free encyclopedia. Then how come things that may not be world class importance, but small things that are still relevant state entites get declined? It's not like I made up the area, its a legit section of Belarus defined by the government. RealKorgi (talk) 18:00, 16 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

@RealKorgi:I understand you bro, but the article was not well sourced. If you can read the References for beginners up there, you'll understand what to do. Try to fix the references, then submit again. Thanks --Comr Melody Idoghor (talk) 18:06, 16 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

I used the sources that it gave on the Russian wikipedia, I don't really think there will be much more of use due to the language barrier of Eastern Europe. Sorry if it sounded passive agressive, I was just confused it was declined with two sources for a stub when the Russia nwikipedia version only has one. @RealKorgi:I understand. What I mean is that you didn't appropriately append the citations to where they belong, take a look at another article and see the difference. I'm not against the 2 citations, that was why I told you to check WP:REFBEGIN so you'll know how to insert them. --Comr Melody Idoghor (talk) 19:12, 16 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Idoghor Melody: Oh my bad, I can do that I just don't really know how to add sources. Had the same problem when doing some translation work on here, I don't know how to add inline citations. RealKorgi (talk) 19:46, 16 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
@RealKorgi:Take a look at WP:INTREF2, I hope that will help you.--Comr Melody Idoghor (talk) 20:12, 16 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Idoghor Melody: Should all be good now RealKorgi (talk) 20:17, 16 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
@RealKorgi: You'll have to resubmit the article but before then, what is the difference between Borschovsky Village Council, Belarus and Borschovsky district?--Comr Melody Idoghor (talk) 20:34, 16 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
@Idoghor Melody: What do you mean Borschovsky district? Do you mean to rename the article that? I thought it would kind of be odd to have a district under a district. RealKorgi (talk) 20:44, 16 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
Would be open to a rename that was less of a mouthfull, but there are multiple "Borschovsky" in Russia so I wanted to avoid a potential duplicate page name in the future.
@RealKorgi:I was asking if there's a difference between the two?-- Comr Melody Idoghor (talk) 20:49, 16 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
I'm not entirely sure. I just know that they are called "Village Council"s in Belarus.RealKorgi (talk) 20:51, 16 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
