Thanks, Reagle! I'm glad you enjoyed it, though I would have liked to have had more time to include more hard numbers. To answer your question, I don't have anything citable at this time, but I'm in the process of drafting an "essay in paper form" to post here on Wikipedia. I expect to be done with it in the next couple of days. Wikiprojects are such a specific topic that it's unlikely that a print journal would be very interested. Before and at (and I am sure after) the first Wiki-Conference New York! I think everyone had a blast! I know I did anyway! I have organized events in the past, and I know how difficult the process can be, so I take my hat off to you. Our panel (B-2) went as smoothly and as perfectly as could possibly be.
