Bob Bledsaw edit

Hi, Robert III?

Yes, I have been working on many bio articles of RPG industry professionals, including Bob Sr's article. There wasn't a whole lot[1] when I started expanding it. The source I have been using is Shannon Appelcline's "Designers & Dragons", published in 2011. The author went to the sources as he wrote for fact checking, and in the case of Judges Guild he spoke to Bob Bledsaw himself (right before he passed) who "was kind enough to read and comment on this history prior to his death." I corrected the part about going out of business in 1983, as I see that I made an incorrect assumption based on what I read. The quote from the book regarding Mishler reads: "Afterward, Adventure Games Publishing, a new company formed by James Mishler (of Comics & Games Retailer) and Bob Bledsaw put out about two dozen books, most of them small-press home-printed digests, which were later made available as PDFs." If that is incorrect as written I can fix it in the article, but someone will need to contact the author as well; as I understand it, Shannon is pretty receptive and he is good about making changes to his content. Thanks for the reply. I've never read Shannon's book. I think I may pick it up in the near future. Yes; as written, it is incorrect. James was the sole proprietor of AGP and my grandfather held no stakes in that company. James utilized that company to publish his Castles & Crusades interpretation of the Wilderlands. Hope that helps :) Bob III Rbledsaw (talk) 21:31, 6 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
OK, I will work on that part momentarily then. And it is definitely worth picking up, it's a good read! He discusses more than 60 companies in a book well over 400 pages! BOZ (talk) 00:15, 7 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
