Chip,

You have done an excellent job with your DART article and welcome to wikipedia. I should let you know that you are going to have to at some point rewrite the first paragraph to de-corporatize it or someone else will do it for you. The first sentence establishing trademark will be seen as spam. This should be a footnote or minor note. That patent establishing language will also need to be moved and de-emphasized. The first paragraph should be an introductory paragraph that is not a section of it's own. In other words you need to remove the "The DARTtm Ion Source" header to move it above the TOC. I should also give you a heads up that your status as the inventor and world's expert in this area can work against you in editorial decisions. For this reason it is important to be very careful to avoid the appearance of product promotion or self promotion. Editors that work for the companies they write about and people who write about their own work are considered as untrustworthy sources because they have exterior motives. It is not unusual for articles to be deleted and editors banned for this reason almost alone. In this case I think you are truely contributing and the article is very good and I will defend it with some changes of course. It is important to establish that you can be a good impartial editor despite your associations by sticking with facts, avoiding promotion and contributing outside of the areas that you are associated with. I'm just trying to be preemptively helpful before trouble arrives. Once again welcome. I look forward to your contributions.--Nick Y. 20:13, 6 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Nick,

Thanks! I made the changes that you recommended, but I don't know how to move the header to a position above the TOC. How do I do that?
