Question from Sottdemo (00:23, 26 August 2023)

How do I edit articles? --Sottdemo (talk) 00:23, 26 August 2023 (UTC)

Hello @Sottdemo, welcome to Wikipedia. To edit an article, visit the article which you want to edit, and find a button that says 'edit', 'edit source' or a pencil sign. This will load an editor where you can make the desired changes. When you are done editing a page, click on the publish button and enter a short summary of your edit, then click on publish again. This will make your edit live. However, please note that not everyone can edit every page. Some pages are protected to prevent vandalism or for other reasons. You can see an extensive guide about how to edit pages, and Wikipedia's protection policy. Thank you. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 15:25, 29 August 2023 (UTC)

Recent move

Hi. I noticed that you are the one who did a redirect on the page for You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah. At some point, would be able to go to the different actor and production pages that have this link and correcting the title. I'm just asking a favor here. --Rtkat3 (talk) 01:38, 29 August 2023 (UTC)

Sure, I will do so, and notify you here when it's done. Thank you! ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 15:17, 29 August 2023 (UTC)

Not good

Draft:St. Vincent Times 1. its just 3 lines and just basic informations. what can be advertising in there? 2 its clearly notable - so its against WP rules to delet it! if there would be advertysing, and there is not. Then it would be your job to fix the 1-2 words that are not true. not to delet the article! It is the FIRST and BIGGEST newspaper of a sovereign NATION!! Absolutly no go to delet this dear friend! 2A02:1210:16F3:8E00:F47B:D9E9:7E07:97FD (talk) 17:27, 5 September 2023 (UTC)

New pages patrol newsletter

Hello Raydann,

New Page Review article queue, March to September 2023

Backlog update: At the time of this message, there are 11,300 articles and 15,600 redirects awaiting review. This is the highest backlog in a long time. Please help out by doing additional reviews!

October backlog elimination drive: A one-month backlog drive for October will start in one week! Barnstars will be awarded based on the number of articles and redirects patrolled. Articles will earn 4x as many points compared to redirects. You can sign up here.

PageTriage code upgrades: Upgrades to the PageTriage code, initiated by the NPP open letter in 2022 and actioned by the WMF Moderator Tools Team in 2023, are ongoing. More information can be found here. As part of this work, the Special:NewPagesFeed now has a new version in beta! The update leaves the NewPagesFeed appearance and function mostly identical to the old one, but updates the underlying code, making it easier to maintain and helping make sure the extension is not decommissioned due to maintenance issues in the future. You can try out the new Special:NewPagesFeed here - it will replace the current version soon.

Notability tip: Professors can meet WP:PROF #1 by having their academic papers be widely cited by their peers. When reviewing professor articles, it is a good idea to find their Google Scholar or Scopus profile and take a look at their h-index and number of citations. As a very rough rule of thumb, for most fields, articles on people with a h-index of twenty or more, a first-authored paper with more than a thousand citations, or multiple papers each with more than a hundred citations are likely to be kept at AfD.

Reviewing tip: If you would like like a second opinion on your reviews or simply want another new page reviewer by your side when patrolling, we recommend pair reviewing! This is where two reviewers use Discord voice chat and screen sharing to communicate with each other while reviewing the same article simultaneously. This is a great way to learn and transfer knowledge.

Incomplete DYK nomination

Hello! Your submission of Template:Did you know nominations/Ninja of Heisei at the Did You Know nominations page is not complete; if you would like to continue, please link the nomination to the nominations page as described in step III of the nomination procedure. If you do not want to continue with the nomination, tag the nomination page with {{db-g7}}, or ask a DYK admin. Thank you. DYKHousekeepingBot (talk) 07:26, 25 September 2023 (UTC)

Objectivity lost?

At a broader forum like Wikipedia, where everyone knows that a person holds a particular slant opinion, why isn't that a header on him? Where just a lot of people, editors, politicans from a lot of other countries do?

And your objection seems quite biased, channelised? 103.176.140.182 (talk) 17:42, 26 September 2023 (UTC)

Bias in Wikipedia is not tolerated at all. The information you added on the page Tunku Varadarajan can be seen as constituting libel. Please make your edits neutral and provide sources for the information you add. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 17:48, 26 September 2023 (UTC)

DYK for Ninja of Heisei

On 30 September 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Ninja of Heisei, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the Ninja of Heisei, who robbed places in Japan while wearing a ninja costume, was caught at the age of 74? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Ninja of Heisei. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Ninja of Heisei), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Deletion discussion about Kendriya Vidyalaya Katihar

Hello, Raydann, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Edward-Woodrow, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Kendriya Vidyalaya Katihar, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kendriya Vidyalaya Katihar.

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Edward-Woodrow}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Moving categories, please don't

Hello, Raydann

Please move all of the categories that you moved BACK to their original locationa. Look at Category:WikiProject Magic: The Gathering members...you moved this category so now it is a category redirect. But it still contains all of the pages that were placed in the original category. Moving a category doesn't move all of the contents of the category so you end up with a mess. You need to propose a category rename at WP:CFD, not move a category yourself or you need to recategorize all of the pages so that they are now in the new category. That could take a great deal of your time so it would be easier to move all of the categories you moved back to their proper location. Right now, the situation is not acceptable as you have pages in redirect categories which need to be kept empty. A general rule is, never move a category page unless it is empty.

I hope you can get to this today. And, in the future, if you want to rename a category, nominate it at WP:CFD which is what other editors do. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 21:35, 26 September 2023 (UTC)

It looks like not all of these page moves are trouble, please check each one, there are at least 20 that need to be reverted. Liz Read! Talk! 21:39, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
Now many of these categories are showing up on Wikipedia:Database reports/Empty categories. Please revert your page moves. Liz Read! Talk! 02:56, 27 September 2023 (UTC)
@Liz I am so sorry, I just got free and saw this message. I will revert my changes asap and give an explanation later. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 04:36, 27 September 2023 (UTC)
@Liz quick question. Would it be okay if I manually blank the categories that I have already moved and redirect them to their respective new title. Then request a move at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Working/Large for the rest of the categories. I think manually blanking the already moved categories would be better than reverting the move and requesting it again by a bot. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 04:51, 27 September 2023 (UTC)
Timrollpickering has already reverted the moves. These are template-populated to a non-trivial extent so just listing them on WP:CFDWL will cause it's own set of problems. Given that each category needs manual attention anyway to check for populating templates the arguments in the underlying CfD that it would be a lot of work to tag should be given less weight. I'd recommend relisting the CfD, getting someone to properly tag the categories, and waiting another seven days before letting someone who has more experience in this area close it. * Pppery * it has begun... 00:01, 28 September 2023 (UTC)
@Pppery As per your suggestion I have relisted the CfD, Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2023 October 1#Category:WikiProject X members. Thank you so much. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 23:22, 1 October 2023 (UTC)

A7 on Alojz Hlina

Hello Raydann -- I've declined this deletion request as the article claims to be a national member of parliament. Not sure what your concerns were? Regards, Espresso Addict (talk) 01:35, 2 October 2023 (UTC)

Hello there @Espresso Addict, I respect your decision to decline the speedy. I tagged the article as I believed that WP:GNG was not met for this individual. The article does claim significance but is not supported by sources. There might be so many more parliamentary politicians all around the world but imo not everyone deserves an article just because they hold a certain post (WP:NRV). I hope it makes sense. Thank you ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 01:52, 2 October 2023 (UTC)
A7 is reserved for articles lacking any credible claims; there doesn't need to be any sourcing to support them, let alone GNG-compliant sourcing. On the wider issue, for better or worse, longstanding consensus exists to cover all politicians elected to national bodies. If you wish to seek to change that, it would need a well-advertised site-wide RfC. Regards, Espresso Addict (talk) 01:58, 2 October 2023 (UTC)
I see. Thank you so much for your explanation. I will surely make better judgements in the future. Best. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 02:10, 2 October 2023 (UTC)

Hello Raydann! We've clearly reached consensus at 6G (network), hence the RM should have been closed as of now. Why is it getting delayed? Any specific reason? – 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 🗿 10:34, 2 October 2023 (UTC)

Hello there @Akshadev. I agree that there is consensus to go forward with the move. The reason the RM has not yet been closed could be due to the fact that it has not been 7 days since the last relist, atleast not for me in my timezone. If the discussion is still open tomorrow, I will close it myself. Thank you. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 15:35, 2 October 2023 (UTC)

November Articles for creation backlog drive

Hello Raydann:

WikiProject Articles for creation is holding a month long Backlog Drive!
The goal of this drive is to reduce the backlog of unreviewed drafts to less than 2 months outstanding reviews from the current 4+ months. Bonus points will be given for reviewing drafts that have been waiting more than 30 days. The drive is running from 1 November 2023 through 30 November 2023.

You may find Category:AfC pending submissions by age or other categories and sorting helpful.

Barnstars will be given out as awards at the end of the drive.

There is a backlog of over 2500 pages, so start reviewing drafts. We're looking forward to your help! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 13:24, 31 October 2023 (UTC)

Asking a mentor is such a great feature! Below was my first edit request. Two months ago, something similar was rejected because I quoted a source too directly. Yesterday, it was rejected because I didn't share the independent source. I've replied sharing this article https://www.romper.com/entertainment/paw-patrol-academy-piknik-apps-for-preschoolers.

Anything else I should do to get this information added?

Page move

You just moved the USN ship page USNS Arctic as "only ship of name, no need for dab", but there have been multiple USN ships with that name, so this was done in error and it should be moved back. Thanks - wolf 05:04, 29 November 2023 (UTC)

Hello there @Thewolfchild, pardon me but isn't this move appropriate per WP:SMALLDETAILS? The subject in question is currently named as USNS and not USS. What do you think?
Pinging move proposer: Llammakey ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 06:42, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
There's small, then there's even less so, but beyond that, prior to a change by adding a single letter to the prefix, the ship at one point had the exact same name as several other ships, (and still does as far as the actual name alone is concerned.) In this case, I believe the original title was appropriate. - wolf 07:33, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
I might have to disagree here. I think the current title is perfectly fine as I can see its current usage in several online sources, and as per WP:SMALLDETAILS. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 17:45, 30 November 2023 (UTC)
Sources specific to this ship. That doesn't change the fact that there are several other ships with the same name that we have articles for. It is in these cases that we disambiguate in the title, just as we do for all those other articles and as we did for this page for almost twenty years, before you abruptly changed it. - wolf 00:59, 1 December 2023 (UTC)
There are several other ships that used to have the same name. Even the navy itself uses USNS and not just USS. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 01:04, 1 December 2023 (UTC)

Well, we've just circled back to the top, where I've already pointed out that the only difference now is a single letter in the ship prefix, while the ship's name itself has not changed and is the same as several other ships, and those are just USN ships, and does not include other ships that also have the same name, hence the disambiguation in the title, that has been there since the article was created almost twenty years ago. I believe the move was made in good faith, but it should be moved back. - wolf 04:26, 1 December 2023 (UTC)

@Thewolfchild, that is true. We're back where we started. Anyways, since you strongly believe that it should be disambiguated, then I will move the page back to its original name. If any other editor disagrees, they will have to got through a formal WP:RM. Have a good day/night. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 18:15, 3 December 2023 (UTC)

Invitation

Hello Raydann, we need experienced volunteers.
  • New Page Patrol is currently struggling to keep up with the influx of new articles. We could use a few extra hands on deck if you think you can help.
  • Reviewing/patrolling a page doesn't take much time but it requires a good understanding of Wikipedia policies and guidelines; Wikipedia needs experienced users to perform this task and there are precious few with the appropriate skills. Even a couple reviews a day can make a huge difference.
  • Kindly read the tutorial before making your decision (if it looks daunting, don't worry, it basically boils down to checking CSD, notability, and title). If this looks like something that you can do, please consider joining us.
  • If you would like to join the project and help out, please see the granting conditions. You can apply for the user-right HERE.
  • If you have questions, please feel free to drop a message at the reviewer's discussion board.
  • Cheers, and hope to see you around.

Recruitment MMS

Hey Raydann, I hope you are doing well. I'm about to send an MMS to Invite list 3. Could you confirm which invitation template you prefer for that mass message? – DreamRimmer (talk) 05:41, 17 December 2023 (UTC)

Hey there @DreamRimmer, thanks for following up. I am doing just fine and hope you are too. If you ask me, my preference would be Template:NPR invite 3. It contains links to the NPP page, granting guidelines, talkpage and the perm page. And it neatly summarizes these into bullet points. The template can be used by placing {{subst:NPR invite 3}} at the end of the talk page of the recipient. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 21:26, 17 December 2023 (UTC)

How to improve my submission and get it accepted

Hi - first of all, thanks for reviewing my submission on Manny Martinez.  I've been denied twice, by 2 different users, and I'm trying desperately to understand how to overcome those denials. To me, the criteria seem a bit vague where notability is concerned. That said, I'm knowingly biased toward the subject of my submission, and feel that he's well-known, though not much is known about him.

I'm hoping you can clarify what's lacking.

The subject hasn't been interviewed by any major publications or outlets, but had started social media engagement and begun being interviewed by established YouTube creators in the last few years, so there's nothing about him in print except mentions and stories in other band member interviews or discography information from his birth until he started those interviews and social media engagement. That leaves me a bit short on documentation. However, notable artists that have their own articles are those that are mentioning him, and those persons as well as the subject himself all tell the same story.

I'm babbling, but I'm frustrated - mostly at myself for not understanding where I'm falling short. RussellTVC (talk) 19:22, 19 December 2023 (UTC)

Question from Frittle (23:05, 12 December 2023)

Hello Raydann! What do you think of my edit on Nerd sniping ? --Frittle (talk) 23:05, 12 December 2023 (UTC)

Hello there @Frittle, if you're unsure about why your edit on Nerd sniping was reverted, it was most probably because while rewriting the definition, you removed a citation as well. Now removal of citations/templates by a new account may often seem like it is vandalism, but I understand that in your case it was done in good faith. If you make the edit again but don't remove the citation, I'm sure your edit will not be reverted. I hope you understand. Thank you. PS. Help with article

Hello Raydan, I recentley created a Wikipedia page called '12Go', but its been moved to draft space. The reason given was that it appears to be made in exchange for money. I wanna clarify that while I do have a connsction with the company, they didn't pay me or I did not take any money for creating the page at all.

I could really use your advise on what steps I should take next. How do I address this issue on Wikipedia, and ensure that the page can be published without violating any of Wikipedia's policys? Stromeee (talk) 20:12, 19 January 2024 (UTC)

Hello there @Stromeee, welcome to Wikipedia. If you have a conflict of interest with an article subject, you must declare it, even if you're not being paid for the same. I would advise you to declare your connection on the 12Go talk page by placing {{connected contributor|User1=Stromeee|U1-EH=yes}} on top, if you're an unpaid editor with a COI. Then you can submit the draft for review again. Hope this helps. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 18:21, 21 January 2024 (UTC)
Hello again Raydan. I followed your advise and submitted the page again. But spmeone declined it. I disagree with the reason given. The source show enough notability. Can you have a look again. I have submitted it again. Stromeee (talk) 20:51, 23 January 2024 (UTC)

Question from Notsogreatdane (18:23, 29 January 2024)

Hi, my intention was to correct an error in the Portuguese entry for Bezerros. The 'Mapa de Bezerros' and the coordinates given below it are for Garanhuns. I have discovered, however, that the incorrect information is not actually in the Bezerros page itself. Can you give me any hints about what help I need to read? --Notsogreatdane (talk) 18:23, 29 January 2024 (UTC)

Hello there @Notsogreatdane, thank you for your efforts to improve Wikipedia. I think you wish to modify this coordinate {{coord|8|14|7|s|35|45|10|W|region:BR|display=inline,title}} in the Infobox of the Bezerros page. If you open the editor in 'source editing' mode, you can modify the template parameters. Let me know if you need further help. Happy editing! ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 20:06, 29 January 2024 (UTC)
No, it was the coordinates in the information box to the right (8° 53' 24" S 36° 29' 34" O) that I wanted to change, but those values weren't anywhere in the source of the Portuguese Bezerros page. I had been unable to work out where they were coming from, but I've now realised that they were from {{Info/Município do Brasil/Bezerros}} so I have edited that page, using the latitude and longitude given in the Infobox of the English page. The Portuguese page also has a separate statement of the latitude and longitude which I have modified to be consistent. Notsogreatdane (talk) 08:17, 30 January 2024 (UTC)

Comment about page creations

Hello, Raydann,

You created some Talk pages where there was no Article page (see this page for a list of page titles at the bottom of the page). Some of the pages listed on the list were created by you, others weren't but you might recognize some names. Orphaned talk pages are deleted per CSD G8 but if you are going to create articles here, I can restore the talk pages. I just want to be sure that if you were working with a list that you didn't create dozens more orphaned talk pages that would just need to be deleted. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 23:21, 7 February 2024 (UTC)

By the way, I find the font you use on your User talk page (and the fly) a little distracting to try to read. I guess as far as communication goes, I prefer predictable and readable to interesting and unusual. Liz Read! Talk! 23:22, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
Hello there @Liz, thank you for bringing this to my attention. No I was not trying to create any articles on those titles, so there is no need to restore them. At first this seemed very strange to me, then I realized what went wrong. Yesterday, I accepted several Wikipedia:Articles for creation/Redirects and categories requests, but I guess I ran into some errors using the User:Enterprisey/AFCRHS script. I accepted Wikipedia:Articles for creation/Redirects and categories#Redirect request:Chicago film censorship, Wikipedia:Articles for creation/Redirects and categories#Redirect request:Home movie system, Wikipedia:Articles_for_creation/Redirects_and_categories#Redirect_request:_No,_My_Darling_Daughter! & Wikipedia:Articles_for_creation/Redirects_and_categories#Redirect_request:_Oh_What_A_Duchess,_Oh,_What_a_Duchess! but the script somehow did not create the redirects, instead it created their talk pages. It also did not close the request that was successfully created, see Wikipedia:Articles_for_creation/Redirects_and_categories#Redirect_request:_Sydney_FC_supporters. My best guess is that the script overloaded when I tried to accept so many submissions in one go. From now on, I'll take it easy and accept fewer requests at a time. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 17:08, 8 February 2024 (UTC)
Many people have pointed this out to me, so it's time to bid adieu to the fly and the font styling. Thank you. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 17:13, 8 February 2024 (UTC)

Question from OnionWithAK on Employee relationship management (16:37, 21 February 2024)

Hello, I am new to Wikipedia, and I want to edit things, but at the end of most strings and messages I see a little blue box with a number in it that I do not know how or where to use them and why. --OnionWithAK (talk) 16:37, 21 February 2024 (UTC)

Hello there @OnionWithAK! Welcome to Wikipedia. It is really nice to know that you're trying to improve the encyclopedia with your edits. At the end of many sentences, the blue box that you may see with a number inside is called an inline citation or a reference. Citations are used to verify the claims that the sentence is establishing. There is a detailed page that explains the use of citations in articles. Al Saud

Hi Raydann. You closed the RM at Talk:Luluwah bint Abdulaziz Al Saud as moved "per WP:TITLECON"... but TITLECON is not a policy or guideline, it is an essay. It cannot supercede the policy WP:COMMONNAME which states that "Wikipedia does not necessarily use the subject's "official" name as an article title; it generally prefers the name that is most commonly used (as determined by its prevalence in a significant majority of independent, reliable, English-language sources) as such names will usually best fit the five criteria listed above". Consistency among titles is one of the criteria considered when choosing titles, but only one of them, and as indicated there, using the common name generally ensures the best fit for all of the criteria. Furthermore, the same consistency can be achieved by moving all the other pages with a spurious Al Saud on the end. I opposed on this policy basis and there was no evidence presented that I was incorrect about the common name, so please can you reconsider your close? Cheers  — Amakuru (talk) 10:21, 22 February 2024 (UTC)

Hello there @Amakuru, thank you for following up. Yes, I performed the move after seeing that after the last relist by robertsky, there was only one response in 11 days, and that was in support of the move. Hello Raydann- I am working on creating a new article, one about a notable person. I have looked over the Policies and Guidelines on notability and I have no concerns about clearing that hurdle.

I have created my own sandbox and have fooled around with it. I think it would be best if I made a start on the article content in order to learn the editor, rather than fooling around. Thoughts?

New Pages Patrol newsletter April 2024

Hello Raydann,

New Page Review queue January to March 2024

Backlog update: The October drive reduced the article backlog from 11,626 to 7,609 and the redirect backlog from 16,985 to 6,431! Congratulations to Schminnte, who led with over 2,300 points.

Following that, New Page Patrol organized another backlog drive for articles in January 2024. The January drive started with 13,650 articles and reduced the backlog to 7,430 articles. Congratulations to JTtheOG, who achieved first place with 1,340 points in this drive.

Looking at the graph, it seems like backlog drives are one of the only things keeping the backlog under control. Another backlog drive is being planned for May. Feel free to participate in the May backlog drive planning discussion.

It's worth noting that both queues are gradually increasing again and are nearing 14,034 articles and 22,540 redirects. We encourage you to keep contributing, even if it's just a single patrol per day. Your support is greatly appreciated!

2023 Awards

Onel5969 won the 2023 cup with 17,761 article reviews last year - that's an average of nearly 50/day. There was one Platinum Award (10,000+ reviews), 2 Gold Awards (5000+ reviews), 6 Silver (2000+), 8 Bronze (1000+), 30 Iron (360+) and 70 more for the 100+ barnstar. Hey man im josh led on redirect reviews by clearing 36,175 of them. For the full details, see the Awards page and the Hall of Fame. Congratulations everyone for their efforts in reviewing!

WMF work on PageTriage: The WMF Moderator Tools team and volunteer software developers deployed the rewritten NewPagesFeed in October, and then gave the NewPagesFeed a slight visual facelift in November. This concludes most major work to Special:NewPagesFeed, and most major work by the WMF Moderator Tools team, who wrapped up their major work on PageTriage in October. The WMF Moderator Tools team and volunteer software developers will continue small work on PageTriage as time permits.

Recruitment: A couple of the coordinators have been inviting editors to become reviewers, via mass-messages to their talk pages. If you know someone who you'd think would make a good reviewer, then a personal invitation to them would be great. Additionally, if there are Wikiprojects that you are active on, then you can add a post there asking participants to join NPP. Please be careful not to double invite folks that have already been invited.

Reviewing tip: Reviewers who prefer to patrol new pages within their most familiar subjects can use the regularly updated NPP Browser tool.

Question from GemmaTheLynx (10:07, 6 April 2024)

Hello! I'm new to Wikipedia and have a question. In a biography content page, would you need a citation for adding date of birth? Gem (Disturb me!) 10:07, 6 April 2024 (UTC)

Hello there @GemmaTheLynx, welcome to Wikipedia! Yes, in a biography of a person, the date of birth/death should be accompanied with a citation. Just like any other information that is likely to be challenged must have citation(s). ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 23:53, 15 April 2024 (UTC)
Thank you so much! :) Gem (Disturb me!) 17:19, 17 April 2024 (UTC)

Moved page

Hello, the page for libertarian conservatism should not have been moved. There was no consensus for doing so in Talk; it was just a suggestion from one guy. The official term is libertarian conservatism, as certified by prominent scholars such as Andrew Heywood. Trakking (talk) 20:57, 23 April 2024 (UTC)

Hello there @Trakking! Thank you for raising this concern. You are indeed right, there was no community consensus in this requested move, but neither was there any opposition. Since no one participated in this RM for about a month, I procedurally moved the page per WP:RMNOMIN, which states that "No minimum participation is required for requested moves. If no one has objected, go ahead and perform the move...". However, since it seems to me that you would like to oppose this move, I would be happy to undo it and relist it again. And then you can oppose the move on the talk page of the article. Let me know if you'd like me to relist it again. Thank you. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 21:07, 23 April 2024 (UTC)
You are correct. Yes, I would like the page to be relisted again. Thank you. Trakking (talk) 21:39, 23 April 2024 (UTC)

Bondi Junction stabbings

Hi Raydann

Please could you revisit or relist this discussion? WP:NCE is crystal clear that the year should be included unless "in historic perspective, the event is easily described without it". I don't see how the Bondi Junction stabbings, terrible as they are, remotely qualify for that excemption. In 10, 20, 30 years time people aren't going to particularly remember this. There are a lot of support !votes, but that's really a WP:LOCALCONSENSUS against guidelines, most of those votes don't reference the guideline that applies on this and maybe editors who aren't aware of the sitewide convention. Cheers  — Amakuru (talk) 09:19, 24 April 2024 (UTC)

Hi there @Amakuru!
Yes I have revisited and relisted the discussion. While I personally have a neutral stance here, I think a relist would be beneficial to the discussion. The page was already moved back to the original name due to another reason. Thank you! ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 16:38, 24 April 2024 (UTC)
