Well done for chopping out the source material from your two Internal Revenue Code articles. But please provide proper links to them on Wikisource. Use {{Wikisource|Title on Wikisource}}.

I am convinced of it. This is precisely what the template warns people not to do -- change the copyvio text somewhat and repost. I marked the new text as copyvio and noted the incident on ANI just in case this was not what I should have done. Robert A.West (Talk) 00:23, 26 April 2006 (UTC)

My archiving

Ah, I see you're cleverly responding to the notice on my talk page by declaring that it means something other than what it plainly says, then attacking this faux meaning. It does not say that the page is cluttered, but rather that "I'd rather not have this page get cluttered" (emphasis added). Your analysis is akin to saying that throwing garbage on an otherwise empty road is not "littering" because there was no litter there already, and the intent of the law is to prevent the road from becoming "littered". You will note if you check my page history that I have been fairly quick to archive comments posted on my talk page during my self-imposed effort to temper my Wikipedia addiction (I've taken a few vacations during this time, by the way, where I was unable to check my page at all for several days). As I mentioned before, I am not deleting comments, I am archiving them. For your convenience, I have posted links to my archives on my talk page.

If you're concerned that viewers will not be able to see our conversations, you are welcome to keep them here, or direct them to my archive (although they will only be able to see what was posted on my talk page there, as that is all I ever archive). The purpose of a road is not to collect garbage unlike the user page is to collect messages. Additionally, for an area to become "cluttered", as you stated, it must first contain items.
