Your contributed article, PURBA BARDHAMAN (BIDHAN SHABHA) edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, PURBA BARDHAMAN (BIDHAN SHABHA). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Purba Bardhaman district. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Purba Bardhaman district. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Poydoo can talk and edit 17:39, 8 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

September 2020 edit

You need to stop making edits like these:[1][2] As it says in WP:OVERLINKING,

Unless a term is particularly relevant to the context in the article, the following are usually not linked:

  • Everyday words understood by most readers in context (e.g., education, violence, aircraft, river)
  • Common occupations (e.g., accountant, politician, actor)
  • The names of subjects with which most readers will be at least somewhat familiar. This generally includes major examples of:
    • countries (e.g., Japan/Japanese, Brazil/Brazilian)
    • geographic features (e.g., the Himalayas, Pacific Ocean, South America)
    • locations (e.g., Berlin; New York City, or just New York if the city context is already clear; London, if the context rules out London, Ontario; Southeast Asia)
    • languages (e.g., English, Arabic, Korean, Spanish)
    • nationalities and ethnicities (e.g., English, British, Chinese, Turkish, African-American, Hispanic)
    • religions (e.g., Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism)
  • Common units of measurement, e.g. units relating to time, temperature, length, area, or volume. If both non-metric and metric equivalents are provided, as in 5 centimetres (2.0 in), usually neither unit needs to be linked, because almost all readers will understand at least one of the units.
  • Dates

Anyone reading the Nroff page will know what the word system means, and anyone reading the Balgona page will know what the word village means.

You don't need to turn every other word into a link. -Guy Macon (talk) 03:10, 26 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for September 29 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Prosenjit Chatterjee, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Producer. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Banagram, Purba Bardhaman moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Banagram, Purba Bardhaman, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Speedy deletion nomination of National Digital Health Mission edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on National Digital Health Mission requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Speedy deletion nomination of National Digital Health Mission edit

Hello Ratanpurwb,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged National Digital Health Mission for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Autopatrolled granted edit

Hi Ratanpurwb, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. However, you should consider adding relevant wikiproject talk-page templates, stub-tags and categories to new articles that you create if you aren't already in the habit of doing so, since your articles will no longer be systematically checked by other editors (User:Evad37/rater and User:SD0001/StubSorter.js are useful scripts which can help). Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Ratanpurwb (talk) 16:40, 5 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

This is confusing, Ratanpurwb, as a) you are not an admin and can't award permissions and b) you don't have this right. This is not an honest message. Liz Read! Talk! 17:03, 6 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
Ratanpurwb, listen carefully. Do not touch the Wikipedia:Requests for permissions/Autopatrolled page. You've made your request and it's been declined. Do not remove that entry manually; that will be archived by a bot. You do not qualify for this and I doubt that you even understand what this is for. Your recent edits to that page have been disruptive. Leave it alone. Focus on other things. Schwede66 23:31, 6 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Td edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Category:Td, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent. If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. * Pppery * it has begun... 14:39, 6 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
