Language changes edit

Rashicy, you have made several recent edits to articles which have changed correct grammar or wording to incorrect or unidiomatic English, for instance [1], [2], [3], [4]. Even if such edits are made in good faith, they unfortunately create more work for other editors who have to fix the errors. Since the drafts you have created contain a lot of language errors (Draft:Mora Kingdom should not have been accepted in this condition, not only because the references are not correctly written so they are impossible to verify, but also because it contains multiple language errors and unidiomatic language), it looks like your written English is not at a level where you should be changing grammar or wording of Wikipedia articles.

Having an imperfect command of English is no big deal, it just means that you need to recognise the fact that there are things you should avoid doing in Wikipedia. Regards, --bonadea contributions talk 06:55, 7 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi Bondea thanks for the message, all the edits I have contributed make sense to me and I can assure you that English is my first language and I know what I’m doing. Mira has been reviewed by 3 admins and two of them thought it met wikipedian standards. Please stop reverting my edits and claiming I don’t know English. Please move my article from the draft space because it makes clear sense it has a descent amount of sourcers and is written in pure English. As for the other articles I edited I was just trying to help, cheers: Rashicy (talk) 08:46, 13 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Lomrjyo. I noticed that you recently removed content from Tadjoura without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page.   Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button   located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Additionally, please make sure your signature includes a link back to your user and/or user talk page(s).C.Fred (talk) 21:08, 17 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Warning 2021 edit

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Daya kingdom moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Daya kingdom, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Alternate account edit

Hello, Rashicy,

I see you have an alternate account, Guutaale135, which you disclose on your user page. To avoid confusion, please do not use both accounts to edit the same article. It can lead to editors viewing your accounts as sockpuppets as many editors might not consult your user page before filing an Sockpuppet Investigation case. This is especially true if one of the accounts is reverting other editors' edits to maintain the other account's version of an article. This is an illegitimate use of an alternate account.

It's an unnecessary hassle to find yourself reported to a noticeboard or have a SPI case filed against you so, please, keep the two accounts absolutely separate and never use them to edit the same pages. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 18:12, 17 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

If I may add a piece of advice that goes beyond the policy:
  • Ask yourself if you really need two accounts. Perhaps for mobile phone usage or public computer security?
  • If you have a good reason to use two accounts, make it clear: Request a rename at Special:GlobalRenameRequest for one of the accounts. Rename Rashicy to "Guutaale135 (mobile)", for example.
  • Replace the user page, and the user talk page, of one account by redirects to the second account.
Example: User:ToBeFree (mobile), User talk:ToBeFree (mobile). Valid alternative account for mobile editing. Completely obvious in edit histories and in discussions.
~ ToBeFree (talk) 18:49, 17 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for telling me I’m new here to Wikipedia i don’t know much. I will request for my name to be changed. I will also try not to edit the same articles, thanks @Liz: cheers: Rashicy (talk) 19:56, 17 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Liban Sultanate - any online sources? edit

Are there any sources found online that directly mention the "Liban Sultanate"? I'm not getting any results in a Google search. —C.Fred (talk) 23:12, 17 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

@C.Fred: hi Fred hope your doing well, The Liban sultanate is actually not called the Liban sultanate. There is already a article on the Worr liban however the Liban sultanate and Worr Liban are different because the Worr Liban the were other then the Worr dasee meaning the Worr Libyan article is about a whole different peoples. Perhaps if you searched Worr Liban it would come up even tho the Liban sultanate and Worr liban are different. Also I have provided sources the article is not fake you can even read through all the sources if you want thanks. Rashicy (talk) 03:02, 18 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
Why do you call it the Liban Sultanate, if you admit there is no such thing? —C.Fred (talk) 03:04, 18 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

I call it the Liban sultanate because the majority of the people at the time in the area were muslims and a Muslim civilisation is generally referred to a sultanate @C.Fred: Rashicy (talk) 03:06, 18 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Liban Sultanate edit

The article Liban Sultanate has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unable to verify content, search does not get any reliable hits. At best, original research or a novel name for an area. At worst, as another editor suggests, may be a blatant hoax.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. —C.Fred (talk) 01:18, 18 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

@C.Fred: hey Fred could you also please move the Muzzafarid dynasty article out of the draft space the user has done it again. Rashicy (talk) 03:14, 18 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

April 2021 edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 2 weeks for abusing multiple accounts. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ~ ToBeFree (talk) 09:50, 18 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Accounts can not be deleted, but you can log into the account one last time, remove the email address from it, change its password to a random string, and then log out. It is practically gone forever then. You have currently not set an email address for Rashicy; you may want to set one to allow password resets for your main account. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 10:18, 18 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Many thanks will do. Could you please consider thinking about unblocking me I’m very sorry and I won’t use the Guutaake account again, akka could you revert Escorvans edits because he has nominated all the articles I’ve created for speedy deletion thanks. Escorban sorry for the error Rashicy (talk) 10:20, 18 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

@ToBeFree: Rashicy (talk) 10:21, 18 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Due to the edit-warring, confrontational behavior displayed in Special:Diff/1018453436, Special:Diff/1018442835, Special:Diff/1018450899 and the unblock request ("could you revert Escorvans edits"), I personally believe that 2 weeks of thinking instead of editing will still have a positive effect on the encyclopedia, so I personally won't unblock. I recommend using the two weeks to have a look at the community portal, the edit warring policy, the editing policy and the disruptive editing guideline to get an overview of the community and its norms. If that isn't enough reading material for two weeks, there's a list of more at Wikipedia:List_of_policies#Conduct. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 10:30, 18 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

@ToBeFree: hi I undershot why yiu made your decision but I question why was I the only one blocked Escorban also partook in the edit clashes, also. I don’t think the block is necessary and i promise I will refrain from edit warring but I ask for one thing, that Escorban refrains from nominating the articles I created for a speedy deletion. Cheers: Rashicy (talk) 01:05, 19 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you're going to request to be unblocked, you need to focus on your conduct, not anybody else's. —C.Fred (talk) 01:16, 19 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

@C.Fred: hi Fred hope your doing well, I wasn’t bringing Escorban into my case never I haven’t mentioned him on appeal I was just asking questions about why he wasn’t unblocked to the Blocking Admin as yiu can see I never mentioned him on my appeal. Also what’s your take on this could I please be unblocked I promise I will refrain from edit warring and i won’t misuse the Guutaale accounts thanks. Rashicy (talk) 01:23, 19 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

your reason here Rashicy (talk) 21:19, 3 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

I understand i was blocked for violating the wikipedian guidelines, and abusing multiple accounts. The reason why I created multiple accounts is because I forgot, the passwords to access these accounts and I thought why not create another account without thinking it through or reading the Wikipedia policy. My aim was to improvement articles and help, in no way was just trying to hurt anyone or vandalise articles. Some of the accounts that were checkuser confirmed aren't actually my accounts like Jones and Baxule so I wanted to apologise to those users. This block is no longer necessary because I wil make useful and successful contributions and I will keep it civil, I won't try to start problems and i will avoid breaking rules. I request for a fresh start, and would like my edits to be moved to the rashicy account. If admins think its necessary I am willing to take break. I promise I will never let this happen again and I will try my best to be a good wikipedian. I will also make useful contributions and my aim is to improve articles, I actually became a Wikipedia editor to create articles and improve articles that needed to be updated or improved, I never came here to divide people and start edit wars, I really hope you can see where I’m coming from. Many thanks @To Be Free:

While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also.
