Welcome! edit

Hello, Rare Earth Insurance Partners, and welcome to Wikipedia. April 2020 edit

This is your only warning; if you insert a spam link to Wikipedia again, as you did at People's Insurance Company of China, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for adding spam links. Persistent spammers will have their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia and potentially penalized by search engines.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  — JJMC89(T·C) 06:00, 16 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

This is the first time I have used Wikipedia. Please unblock me as I am an independent editor and wanting to get experience in editing articles so in future I can write and submit my own. As is evident from my attempts today, I have gone about this incorrectly. Please unblock me, so I can review your guidelines and commence editing as a way to first learn your system. Can you please send a link to any pages that you have, which require editing so I can use these as a starting point? Thank you. Rare Earth Insurance Partners (talk) 06:23, 16 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 06:28, 16 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Thank you for your explanation. I would like to resubmit my request to be unblocked for the following reasons. The block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia because I now have received links to various FAQs and other Wikipedia guidelines. These will provide me with the detail I need to be able to become a meaningful editor and article contributor to Wikipedia. I understand what I have been blocked for, I was reviewing and editing pages, by linking recent press articles, without understanding Wikipedia’s terms and conditions. The edits I submitted were deemed to be advertising and considered Spam, which was not my intention. However, I now understand that, and I will not continue to cause damage or disruption. Going forward I will ensure I make useful contributions by way of edits instead. Thank you for your consideration. Rare Earth Insurance Partners (talk) 06:45, 16 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

You haven't said what you will edit about if unblocked, as you won't be unblocked to edit about insurance companies due to your conflict of interest. You will also need to propose a new username. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 09:24, 16 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
