Knowledge Katti
editKnowledge Katti was born and raised in the town of Walvis Bay which is also Namibia’s main port, where he also matriculated. He was of the top best students and excelled during his academic career. He holds a Bachelor degree in Commerce which he obtained from the University of Namibia (UNAM)and majored in Economics, Accounting and Auditing subjects.He completed his Accounting articles with internationally acredited firm PricewaterhouseCoopers.[1]
Helping Hands
editKnowledge katti gives to the needy and thus founded The Knowledge Foundations in the year 2008. The Foundation is made up of three distinctive bodies,namely Brick by Brick,Open Minds and Healing Hands. Open Minds focuses on education by providing funds to ten students in order for them to excel at tertiary level.[2]
Economic upliftment
editKatti has contributed greately to the Namibian Mining industry by guiding the facilitation of a partnership deal worth N$50 million between Brazilian based Cowan gas exploration firm and Namibian Parastatal firm Namcor in a "no strings attached deal" with the presence of the Government Negotiation Team.Cowan were to pay Namcor the specified amount with the hope of discovering oil in Namibian shores.[3]
